I have just got into Overwatch 2 on the same battle.net account which my playstation network account is linked to however when trying to click account merge nothing happens - I can hear the menu sound of clicking the option but it is not giving me any option to merge my PSN OW1 account to OW2 on pc - anyone else having this issue or know a fix?

It seems that it is a bug, i read that if you play in the same console you dont need to merge account and all should be transferred, i dont have anything, not heroes, skins or even level or progress, it’s like i lost all my 5 years progress, but it seems that it is a bug, they said they are working on it but it’s been hours

Okay - hopefully I can bring my OW1 stuff over to OW2 on pc because at the moment I am kind of reluctant to play on a fresh account if all of my stuff will eventually be able to get brought over

my xbox account is linked to my pc battle,net account, yet my account is being treated like a brand-new player on both xbox and pc, the “account merg” button is present on both pc and xbox but does nothing when clicked for me too.

I’m glad it is not just experiencing the issue - I am pretty certain the account merge is not present at all if you do not have something to merge, hopefully they resolve the issue quickly as I want to be able to move my skins etc across

yeah i have the same issue, 9000 hours of progress, i press the merge but nothing happens. unfortunate.

So after playing 5 unranked matches, it now says my account has been merged however I have not got any skins etc although it does say cosmetics have been merged

I “merged” my battle.net account with my Xbox account and got the ow origins skins but nothing else oddly

Same here, I played a few matches then a message appeared telling me that my accounts have successfully merged, but I could see no change to my account. I went to desktop and reloaded the game, still no changes, still a “new” account.
nothing happens when i click on merge account…

I had this problem when I finally got on after launch. It then did something weird, said it was merging, and now I’m stuck with half the heroes, no competitive, and still not recovered my account. After 25.5 hours, this is actually ridiculous and there should already be a fix to this.

I merged my xbox account with my Battle.net account and it’s treating it as if it’s level 1.
I want to play the game but I worry that if I do, the merge won’t work properly when it eventually gets fixed.

I recently got back and nothing, i have the origins skins but nothing more, i don’t have the owl akins neither, maybe we have to wait more
thats the same with me, i just want to play the stupid game
Yeah, I feel tight up with the “account merge” not working. I have a lot to loose from OW1. I really hope they work on it.

Yep same thing. Nothing happen when I press the merge button. Stuck at lvl 1 with no skins of gold guns. Hopefully this gets fixed or this is gonna be a huge problem
