Doubt you play Genji tbh. His deflect is already the most broken (and I mean as in not functional) cooldown in the game because of 20tick and latency. 1s deflect would honestly be useless against Widow
you could increase its hitbox size if that helps to make it more reliable
since its such a short duration it can probably go for hitbox buffs
remove fan of blades,
make each shuriken deal 50 damage.
this way he doesnāt have to score headshots to combo kill someone with shurikens and he isnāt too annoying to deal with up close just spamming fan of blades to whittle enemies down.
he also doesnāt have to get close to deal more dps, and he can get rewarded for critting with shurikens that could net him a kill off of those alone and his swiftstrike can be used more openly for other things than just a part of a combo to be able to kill enemies.
itās either that or remove deflect in favor of a dps ability thatās more consistent that will be able to deal damage instead of āmaybe deal damageā
but some compensation has to happen, iām not a believer of bleed and i do think deflect is a great ability, itās just not something he can whip out to deal more damage with which is why heās kind of crippled.
and as for fan of blades comparitively with normal shurikens, i think fan of blades is a bit weird where it necessitates genji to put himself into more danger than he needs to expose himself to for not that much more effect than normal shurikens.
imo i think fan of blades only promotes a more reckless playstyle than genji can afford in current overwatch.

i think its not really very comparable,
plus im not very sure what were the damage values back then

Bleed would deal like 75 or 100 damage iirc. I remember being able to kill Tracers that didnāt get healing within like 5 seconds with just one Swift Strike.
However damage as a whole right now is an issue and adding that much more trash damage to the pile would make things worse.
Adding more mechanics like the return of triple jump or bringing back that perching mechanic he had in beta would be cool though.
The idea of adding DoT and AntiHeal was to avoid tacking much more direct damage into his kit
the antiheal and DoT are meant to help him punch through sustain

Mercy wasnāt fulfilling her main support job, thatās why she got buffed, reaper is ok in most cases. Why buff a hero that is decent. The only thing genji could get back is his dot on swift strike, but I donāt think he needs any other buffs.
Remove a third of what makes Genjiā¦ Genji.
Give Genji the highest DPS in the game when including reload times and among the highest in the game even without including said reloads. Given his projectile nature, heād then be largely niched into tankbusting and shieldbreak alone.

- The best states to use are weekly due to the hero bans
- Winrates donāt accurately tell how a hero is doing, because if it did then Pharah would be the best hero in the game with her 61% winrate
Exactly because of hero bans weekly stats are bad because they only make sense with the current bans as a context. But you dont constantly have the same hero bans.
See, thatās called projecting. Just because your attempt at a fix is flagrantly over the top doesnāt mean othersā have to be as well.

Yes, and monthly is worse because it takes multiple into context making it even worse.
Plus weekly helps show how a hero would do in the different types of hero bans.
But still, winrate is not an accurate way to tell how good a hero is.
