Ok, so I know Samito isn’t the most liked streamer over here. I know he said things in the past that were… Err… Let’s say controversial.
But this video in particular, I can’t help but agree with it completely. It talks about how Overwatch can improve. It’s very rare to hear this here, but in this one I fully agree with Samito.

The forums call him deranged, they laughed at a mental breakdown he had, they want him dead because he dissed their favourite hero, they want him to commit suicide. The ‘‘morally superior’’ forum users don’t like him much.
Honestly, don’t expect anything from this community.
Even videos like these, where he’s trying to make the game more enjoyable for everyone, he’s going to be scolded for.

I honestly dont agree with his solutions force voice chat is just wrong. No one wants to play a game to he forced to do something there uncomfortable with isnt good. I also disagree with him when he said barrier isnt the issuse. The reason dive isnt getting played is mai and reaper the barriers are far to strong to the point where mojority of the dps cant be played into it. Cant play soldier becuase if double sheild mcree finds it hard to get alot of value because of them ashe is bad because of the sheilds it nerfs genji even more if sheilds are to strong and no one wants to be shooting them. He says fortify is the problem not the sheild. It just doesnt add up. He even thinks double sheild will be meta when the ptr patch will go live trouble with that is sigma and orisa is just gone and rien and orisa gets countered easily from dive tanks if you watch the pro pugs. Rien and orisa isnt going to be the meta.

Honestely mate, no reason to use this forum for competitive and productive OW discussion. It’s not taken seriously, the DEVs mostly look at reddit’s competitive discussion as well for feedback.
Do not even bother cuz everybody is mad and they cannot see over their rage just because Sam called Moira braindead. Even thou he even says in this video that Doom (the hero who he is maining right now) should get nerfed too or reworked… But nope, even if you say “Samito” on the Forum you might get a one day ban

Force voice chat? That’s just daft. Not everyone uses a microphone. It would be far more constructive if this game had a VGS (voice guided system) instead of the limited in-game wheel options we have. For those who don’t know what a VGS is, look at Paladins for example. It’s a menu with in-game voice lines to try and inform your teammates about something relevant to the current match. For example, if you need assistance, if you believe an enemy has their ultimate ability ready, or if you want your team to go a specific route.
Besides, am I not mistaken in believing this guy was also complaining about Moira? A hero who was considered trash before the meta shifted into her favor, and will be even more trash once the meta shifts again. I really can’t take this guy seriously, as I’m sure many other members of the community can’t either. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if the devs take onboard some of his feedback simply because he’s a fairly known content creator/streamer. They seem to listen far more to people around that area, and the professional level in particular, while appearing to mostly ignore community feedback these days. That’s part of the reason this game is in the state its currently in.
The funny thing I have to say about this video is that if Kabaji or ML7 literally said what Samito said in this video word for word, just straight out copy paste, people would agree with them.

I don’t agree with his view why Orisa was created. I believe she was created to keep sniper heroes in check.
You can’t nerf “one shot” sniper damage. It is what snipers do. Nerfing sniper damage is wrong.
The only way to nerf snipers is good shielding and good suppression fire on the snipers position. Orisa is a good sniper suppression hero.
Next patch… I don’t know if Orisa can perform her sniper suppression with a weak shield.
It’s most definitely about the streamer. Samito has lost any and all credibility. You can’t compare him to the likes of someone like ml7 who says what he has to say without raging and saying moronic things. Even the things he says in this video are things I don’t agree with, whoever thinks forcing voice chat is a good idea is a fool.
I agree with some of it. I definitely agree that more frequent balance changes are a must.
The thing is, I don’t agree with WHAT he feels needs balancing. It just screams bias: if it doesn’t take skill, it shouldn’t be relevant. And I don’t agree with that. He’s kind of a skill elitist.
Other than that, he raises some fair points.
That’s not at all what he is implying.
What it boils down to is challenging yourself as little as possible should not be the most rewarding route. Moira being better than Ana? Doom being better than Genji? Mei/Reaper being better than McCree and Soldier?
That shouldn’t be a thing. He specifically mentions that there should be a place for these heroes. But they can’t be more effective while being fundamentally much easier to play. That in and of itself is unbalanced.
i disagree with this, since flankers exist, winston exists.
her shield has curves but its innability to move and its long cooldown is more of a defensive bunkerish style then anti sniper.
a widow can just reposition u kno.
i think sigma was made to counter snipers with his 1s cooldown shield.
but orisa is prolly the easiest hero to snipe.
i think sigma will do that fine while orisa turns into hog on steroids
Winston can’t jump that far. Orisa bullets do a better job. Most of the time I see Winston “try” to contest Widow with a high failure rate. He must maneuver close enough to “try” to get close enough to pounce on her position.
Orisa is the immediate answer to bullets or arrows that are coming from across the map.
Basically everything is 100% correct until about 11:45 then everything after that is 100% wrong.
