25 days later (see below) ive now earned another “BP’s worth” of tokens from microsoft…slightly longer than first time around…but hey thats still 2 BP’s worth in less time than its taken to earn my first from actually playing the game (which should be 2 weeks from now)
i keep this up ill probably have enough to play the PVE later…
That’s what I’ve been doing……I’ve been told that the “limited time” that’s mentioned on the page is for that specific offer….and that it will eventually go to 2000 per 200 (same ratio as larger amounts)….but I have no way of knowing
Yep 25 days seems to be the average time to earn a battlepass with MSP.
I’m a few days away from earning another one, just in time to get season 3 battlepass for free.
This is definitely the way to do it without having to fork out any real money.
In the future I may even be able to afford a stupid priced shop skin with any extra MSP…and then be accessed of being a whale in game
I had 400 coins from OW2 Season 1, and this season redeemed 600 coins (3x 200 coins) from Microsoft Rewards. We get it at a lower rate in New Zealand but it’s still ~150-200 points minimum per day and around 7 to 9 days to get 1800 points/200 coins.
It’s cool we can do this since I got a free battlepass but weird you can earn more out of the game than in the game.
It’s 2023. Unless you were born in the mountains and have lived there your entire life, your personal info is already on several thousand databases spread across several foreign countries.
I mean, we’re on the Blizzard forums right now. The CCP probably has info on us like how much our brains weigh down to five significant digits after the decimal.
The amount of coins we get in game is terrible, but it’s from actually playing a game. Doing the Microsoft rewards is like a very low wage job doing boring little tasks of clicking here and there.
Personally I’d much rather actually work an hour and be able to buy a few bpasses than spend a few mins a day doing Microsoft rewards pts.
I live in all kinds of obfuscation and honeyspoofing. Can they dox me by force? Sure. But what they get is a gaming-only online machine with photos of randos and tons of jbaits. The rest is airgapped and tempest faraday with van eck proofing.
Personal info leaked from some large db != ongoing search habbits. Voluntarily supplying them usage patterns, consumer activity, from which they can mine all kinds of behaviours, associations, and classification of your life?
No thanks. I’m not going to sell out for so little.
