Microsoft rewards added OW coins to their rewards, so by just using edge/bing and doing random quizzes and stuff you can earn like 200 OW coins every 6 days instead of the 60 per week from playing the game lmaoooo

First gold mining in WoW, now using Bing/Edge.
Clown fiesta coin balance where playing the actual game is the worst option.
Though with Twitch being the place to get free cosmetics maybe we should’ve guessed playing the game was the last thing Blizz wanted us to do.

You make more being fired from Mcdonalds after working there for two hours and being fired after the lunch shift ends than you do playing and completing all overwatch weekly challenges, all 20 victories as all roles (40ish games at avg 50% wr x 10-15 min duration = 400-600 min / week = 0.6$ OW / 100-150$ McD / 15-25x slower)
So if you earn only 60 cents a week, all that yearly work is worth a whopping 2 hrs of mcdonalds while likely spending 7-10 hrs a week x 50 to have 350-500 hrs of gameplay compete with 2 hrs at a mcd.
It’s obviously designed to just be full activision and go. “Hey, people playing our game for free doesn’t make any money, so why should we?”, but hey, 60 cents over 0 is probably more than what they probably would have done.
It’s more a insult of the low payment than if nothing had been there at all considering the rate of income is so low, you can’t even purchase the smallest item until you’ve been playing 250 hrs for some cheap recolored 700 coin skin that would have been recieved 4x at a time in a lootbox for free prior.

The worst part is though, before you could get 90 points from searching and it was recently reduced to 30 a day last month
