Maybe, but wouldnt it be weird to code? since all proyectiles that end up with a deployable cant be eaten for a reason, you would probably have to make Torbjorn Turret and Symmetra turrets edible too.
Most of the time, people won’t really throw the lamp from what I see. It’s mostly a close/nearby range throw. Allowing D.va/Sigma to eat it offers a much needed counter to it rather than the “just shoot it” stance.
Making it be deflected seems a bit much here, but since we’re changing its stance from a deployable to a projectile, it has to follow that same logic.
Would probably be a good idea to do, but the whole “destroy it”/hp will probably also go with that logic if it works like Mei’s/Zarya’s ulitmates.
no its not, because mei ult does not spawn a entity with HP, for all we know snowball might as well be an animation because you cant shoot it like you can other deployables
What it would mean is Bapt could no longer do long throws and would just throw it at his feet between DM CD like Zarya does. In a comp where he would be surrounded by his teammates and doesn’t need to throw it past a meter, it doesn’t do anything.
If meta was caused due to Bapt’s IF, why is that only after buffing her primary, secondary and ult, IF became “more relevant” according to you?
The thing is, there is no such thing as IF meta. IF is only seen as problematic because people is seeing Bapt more often in their games, but in reality, IF was never the main cause for a meta, had it been, Bapt would have also been meta a long time ago…
I can’t tell you more if you can’t see the difference at this point tbh.
Except one is a projectile and th other is an object.
Projectiles and Object are handled differently. I watched a dev talk about how they even had trouble with certain objects in the game being tracked within the engine (the current one - no clue if they changed things in the OW2 engine) - that made it difficult to do certain things and handle certain interactions.
