Zeratul should get a talent at 20 that makes doing or taking damage from basic attacks not break his stealth

I could write a novella defending the idea but the simple fact of the matter is if you aren’t excited by the thought of recreating getting dark templars into the backlines of an enemy’s base & plowing thru their workers without breaking stealth to do so then Idk why you play this game

Sounds to me like you haven’t tried playing late game Zeratul vs a team with no Zeratul counters.

You don’t need permanent stealth for this hero to work wonders. If anything, it would severely break him, as he is very weak to point-and-click CC, and removing his biggest weakness would just be ridiculous.

As for the fantasy, his lvl 1 talent [Move Unseen] already provides enhanced stealth, that can often make it very difficult for an enemy team to deal with you if a lot of their abilities/damage is point-and-click. Anything beyond that is unnecessary imo.

You would make a lot of people to leave hots, considering there are not so many invis reveals left (Tass lost his baseline Oracle, Reghar’s 4-7 lvl reveal was removed).

If it was just you as Zera using AA would not break stealth against heroes I would be fine with that. Anything that hits you would still need to reveal you. Which of course would make the talent on par with his W at 20 as in next to worthless. But hey at least it would have lore reason to exist.

You should’ve started with that since this idea looks like it came from the top 10 worst suggestions list.

And I could write a novella that Abathur needs to have adrenal overload baseline, but that wouldn’t make the idea any less bad.

but AA’s already weren’t able to reveal zeratul, they’re just able to keep him revealed.

Yes and you think that wasn’t important?
The team comps that can throw consistent AoEs at zeratul to keep him revealed with your suggestion is rather small. And when you need a full team to deal with a single hero balance goes out of the window.

What? Using AA, Q or W all reveal as Zeratul.

Having stealth or not once you’re engaged doesn’t make a difference to Zera honestly.

It’s not like you stay in prolonged fights anyway.

Also as a more generic comment, I don’t think most people who play HotS are SC1 fans, who envision slaughtering Protoss/Zerg enemy workers without the game alerting your enemy to you killing their workers.

I suspect those people are <10% of the HotS playerbase to be realistic. <5% is probably more realistic, although I think <1-2% being in that group of players is probably the closed to reality.

Multiplayer PvP (player v. Player) is itself a fraction of Starcraft gamers. Before you restrict it to Protoss players who play PvP and HotS.

I mean, he’s basically taking Valeera’s smoke screen ultimate and giving it to Zeratul, without the geographic limitation.
