Wotst match making in any game I have ever experienced

I’ve played many games and this is the only game that has blocks of win/loss of this magnitude. I don’t know what kind of code that Blizzard has but it somehow encourages win/loss streaks. I can understand code that will stop a loss streak with some wins, but this game is the only one that puts you in unwinnable games when you have won too many games.

Don’t forget to find the article(s) which discuss the Activision-Bzzzzzd patent on algorithms that have one sole purpose - to maximize revenue from microtransactions. If you have any faith in this game, hopefully you will lose it after said reading.

Just finished another game where the kill score was 2-34. My team’s healer had less then 50% of the healing that the other teams two healers had. Meaning we had 25% of the other teams healing. Fix the match making.

MM is fine, the problem is HotS is extremely anti pug kind of game.

In dota/LoL you really only need picks based on the lanes, you play on the same map every game basically, people generally know what to do and when to do it to the point where it’s not ideal but acceptable to communicate via pings.

Now take HotS, you can lose the game before it even begins with a bad draft bc it means you are gonna lose every single team fight in a game where losing team fights means the other team is getting a massive advantage. Then you are playing on vastly different objective based maps all the time, you can’t solo carry a bad team, you need to work together and also know how to effectively soak the entire map etc…

No MM system can possibly exist to make solo queing any less crap than it already is in HotS. A role que would be nice, but it isn’t going to save you from making a horrible draft.

Real talk tho how do you fix matchmaking when it seems like everyone is terrible at the game? Not even joking I still get horrible games at high master where people dont know how to soak, rotate, do camps, watch map and more, people still give up out of rage at this rank. Its like the more knowledgable you get at the game, the more miserable it gets.

LoL and DotA still have terrible drafts. It’s not as noticeable because you can carry a match if you dominate your role and snowball it to other lanes.

In HotS, bad drafts are much harder to overcome. They aren’t death sentences like many players want to pretend. But they sure can make the match very difficult to win.

I’ve been playing LoL more recently than HotS. There are quite a bit of dummies there too. But you aren’t wrong… the dummies in HotS seem to be everywhere. Higher Ranks too. In LoL, even in lower Ranks some of the players have a clue about what’s supposed to be happening, but they are too bad to execute.

HotS low Ranks feels like 9-10 mooks gooning it up.

I completely agree. Match making on this game is garbage. It doesn’t feel competitive at all. It’s just trash. You just hope the other team ends up with that one player that is worse than your worse player.
