… Maybe developers thought it would be cute to spam it on deathwing? Or is it some shaman thing that I dont understand?
Horde stuff. they’re always up for quests!
But thrall talent tree screams quest fetish, esp the ones if you miss the wolves you lose all stacks, i almost lol’ed, thats brave of developers to experiment with such things.
Maybe developers thought it would be cute to spam it on deathwing?
That’s 100%. I think they kept Deathwing in mind during Thrall creation process. There’s no other way
A true WoW Hero
More quests - more challenges.
Thrall had a talent rework during the prime time of quests. Right when quests were added to the game they basically gave them to every character they could. Some characters they overdid it.
Basically all his quests are really reasy to finish, so that’s not really a problem. If it bothers you so much, you can still build him without any quests.
That’s really easy to finish and the reward is REALLY good. Losing all stacks if you miss his W before completing it makes sense tbh.
Beat me to it. He does represent Warcraft, after all…
I am in no way saying his enormous quests is a problem just that its funny, and I suspect has something to do with shaman or deathwing.
@Godfred
Ah that make sense I guess
@Darak
I think I am gonna try that wolf quest! Up for the challenge! (I used to miss it)
No they just really liked the quest talent idea. It was a super serious time of their life that they insisted to their mom wasn’t just a phase. Thrall managed to get some really good quests. Other heroes weren’t so lucky
I have to say quests is 1 of the coolest thing that hots bring to the moba genre.
Mainly use it when following up on someone’s CC. It’s really easy to complete if you do that and don’t try to random W the enemy.
You are not forced to pick them
Ah Thrall, the only hero I feel comfortable taking a repeatable quest at 16, and still reliably get value from it.
If your Warchief says quest you quest! FOR THE HORDE!!
He was probably (re)designed during the ‘quest era’ where they overused quests a bit.
Because of Warcraft 3.
Thrall is on a quest.
I thought it was just because he’s the face of WoW
Yeah, he was. Devs said they are okay with him having so many quests though, while for other heroes they changed things a bit.
Thrall is no longer warchef and needs to do quest on his free time
