Why is leaver q better?

why is it i find better more close games, with people who actually care and know what their doing in the leaver q.

the second im out of leaver q i get a terrible healer or a tank that lanes during obj…

is their a way to stay in leaver q, i’m not saying all my games in leaver q are amazingly close, some times we actually do have leavers and afks… but 6/10 times i am matched with pros both on my team and opposing team. while in regular qm i get morons the teams are so one sided it sux.

so why is leaver q better?

You just got a good RNG for leaver queue and a bad one for normal queue.

Why can’t I like whenever I want to on the forums? If so Darak would have one. If you skip the queue you get a leaver queue to discourage you from doing so often, this is a no brainier really.

+14 minutes before I can like anyone, really!

well… you probably find it easier to relate to your own kind. many ppl are not fond of leaving in the middle of games and so you probably dont fit in very well with normal queue. this is understandable. however, in the leaver queue you can find ppl that are the same as you easily!

Because the Leaver Queue is full of people who think they’re too good for their teams and ditch.

Someone who’s new won’t think they’re too good for anything, but someone who has just enough experience to not be useless is more likely to decide the rest of their team is useless and leave.

So by being in the leaver queue, you get paired up with less new players and more people who are just good enough to be passable, but think they’re hot stuff.

Waiting longer is called edging I am told darling. It can seem better in the moment, but it’s all based on your feelings and emotions.

Maybe your normal game MMR is so terrible from leaving perfectly winnable matches that you’re eternally in Bronze MMR and in leaver games it might have a much more lenient MMR system to allow games to happen so you for once have teammates who aren’t bronze.

Just my guess though.

Oh darling, you’re wicked, I rather like you. Here I thought all Chromie avatars were sweeties.

I still stand by my explanation, I feel it’s closer to the truth of the matter.

Eh, I’m just saying it like I see it.

I can’t imagine anyone who leaves games so frequently that he starts noticing patterns between his regular games and leaver games could be above bronze or silver.

And I have no idea how leaver games are. Only played them once when I was playing on a crashy laptop for a period.

No idea but i should start leaving to try that lol. Last 10 matches lost with at least 3 out of 5 people with 12+ deaths in 20 minutes games, what a joke.

I might play like bs when im tired but aa with tychus a reflecting genji? 1 vs 5 varian memeblades? 1.5k exp abathur in 16 min game? 18 death leoric?

What the hell is happening this week.

Why each time i get to go in leaver queue i get people feeding into towers of afking after dying two times from any side?
It is like silenced players, some silenced players are very good an not that unpleasant in chat, same for people in leaver queue does not mean others aren’t the worst type of players ever.
As a bonus people from the first type can go to the second one in a flash the moment they begin losing a bit.

Unrelated question: I’m from Germany, so english is my second language. Do people, wherever you come from, actually use “darling” on a regular basis or is that just a thing that you do? I’m a writer, so these kind of things fascinate me.

It’s not really a normal way to adress someone, it’s usually a somewhat condescending tone.

Because every now and then, very skilled people have left games that weren’t worth playing (say 2 disconnectors or intentional trolls etc) and are thrown into leaver queue.

99% of the time this isn’t the case, and people in leaver queue are just people who constantly DC or AFK themselves or have a bad internet connection. You just happened to run into the 1%.

There is no way the game quality is better in leaver queue on average.

i really like the leaver q. sad its over after 2 matches so i have to leave again to get good games.

pretty much what GeorgeV responded with.
Although there is a little “leeway” in terms of a couple, where darling can be a term of endearment. But outside of that it is mostly condescending as GeorgeV says.

I have a friend who constantly punctuates her sentences with darling. It’s very annoying, but she does it because she is rather flamboyant, not out of condescension. It’s often a word associated with a camp sensibility, see that “Auntie Mame” play for reference if you want to torture yourself. My friend is a bit like that character!

I agree it can be condescending, a term of endearment, but it’s not limited to just those two.

Thanks for the answers. I figured as much, but I wanted to be sure.
