Why Is It That, If Rexxar Dies

Misha dies too? It seems as though it’d be cooler to have her survive on her own as well…

She dies of sadness.

A wholesome post.

I agree. Should play like TLV IMO.

Did this not happen in Warcraft III?

honestly i would play rexxar if it wasn’t so hard to micro the bear, dunno why they didnt just go with the same setup as tlv

Because TLV are 3 separate humanoids while Rexxar is 1 humanoid and 1 animal. The Misha is not as smart as Rexxar so cannot be controlled separately, and fully relies on commands from Misha.

Gameplay wise it is to make him unique to play.

(rexxar dies)

Xul: “What the hell am i gonna do with this bear?” [/Echoy voice]

Why Misha dies with Rexxar? Because… it might surprise you -it did surprise me-, but despite how it looks and feels, Rexxar is the Hero and not Misha :open_mouth:

But more seriously, probably balance and immersion. It’s not like Rexx needs a buff like always needing to kill both of his bodies. Especially if Rexx would respawn where Misha is. Huge, undeserved buff. But having Misha far away in the lanes and then Rexxar respawns in the Hall and they’re miles apart? Weird. Misha “dying” so she teleports to Rexxar when he respawns? That would screw things up. Misha running towards Rexxar when he respawns? Misha-suicide.

Please don’t even put that out there in the universe, Rexxar on Braxis and Dragon Shire is painful enough!

On my way to cast Misha Charge! and heal all the way from Brazil (Rexxar is really loud).

That would make sense. You dont want to have a npc running back from where you died all back to spawn. So having both die when Rexxar dies was best to do.

Who said anything about it being an NPC? you can control Uther after death, along with King Loeoric, so why not Mishra? You can at least have her stun, heal, and fight her way back towards base, a mere camp, or a fort until Rexxar gets back to her. Have Imagination!

I know this is a necro…

… but now I’m starting to dig this idea.

they are soul linked

Rather than die, she could just drag Rexxar’s corpse back to the Hall of the Storms whereafter she starts doing all sorts of medical and none medical treatments until he “wakes up”.

CPR, chest paddles, smelling salts, smacking him across the face, so on and so forth until he comes back.

Makes that included in his trait during the drag to the Nexus and while they’re in it, his respawning time will be faster.

So, while he’s being dragged back, the opposing team can slow her dragging down by disrupting her via means of attack, causing his respawning time slower, thus harassing Misha to get this benefit but at the same time you’ll lose a person to do this duty :face_with_hand_over_mouth:.

Is there not a counterplay to this? not quite, Misha has to drag him so how to prevent the dragging? Certainly, you kill her before Rexxar!, hunting Misha is much more meaningful!

I mean she is used to his feign death, so why shouldn’t she try everything to get him back on his feet?

So, uh, playing Kerrigan…just realized u can control Ultralisk after death…

Ultralisk definitely < Mishra…yeah, dunno what that’s about!
