rag is probs one of the most balanced and fun, play him well and he becomes an actual terror

Idk why I started playing Genji and liked it tbh. I used to main tanks and healers and suddenly got me playing him

I think I liked the way he was very high risk but very high reward.
Well, i do not really have mains, but some heroes i like(d) to play regularly.
For Lunara, Chromie and Orphea probably their themes, with for all of them (Ana, old Whitemane, Jaina, Medivh), difficulty and playstyle.
I like dragons, so I main dragons (mosty Alex)
Maiev probably because I loved her in WC3. plus she’s constantly angry at everyone, which I can relate to.
Rag: so I can tell those OW & OC heroes “BEGONE FROM MY REALM INSECTS!”
Zarya: cuz she can flex
Rehgar: Self AH
I pick based on who they are. Because I like their fantasy. Which is really well translated into their kits, so I really enjoy that as well.
My 8 favs atm: Medivh (Powerful Wizard), Deckard (Gandalf/Old Medivh), Greymane (Werewolf), Malthael (Badass Angel who did nothing wrong), Imperius (Badass Angel), Butcher (Badass Demon, Childhood Nightmare Nostalgia), Junkrat (Crazy), Deathwing (Badass Dragon, FIRE!).

powerful is an understatement by alot alot… medivh is the strongest mage in WoW really, but ur list is pretty neat nevertheless… i remember my father told me his own story with D 1 butcher xD

Yea, but he shows little from it now (after his death) because he wants the new generations to hold their own without him. Which is pretty neat. I like that stuff 
My top 3 as of right now: Artanis, Deathwing, Fenix
Artanis: I absolutely adore his playstyle. Inciting you to fight until the end and his passive is really satisfying in situations where enemies can’t burst through it and it keeps going back up again and again. Also, he has some build variety which i appreciate. I also really like the starcraft games (legacy of the void especially).
Deathwing: I have to admit, i see a giant dragon scorches everything in sight without a second thought, me likey.
Fenix: Normally i’m not a very good ranged assassin (in the style of Raynor, valla, etc.). But Fenix’s talent build and kit have a lot of defensive traits, which help me quite a bit when i have/want to play a ranged assassin. And the sound design is awesome. Extra points because he’s a starcraft character.
Honorable mention to Cho’Gall: The most unique moba character out there, plus i have fond memories of my brother and I playing him and dominating.

fun fact: his last survivng book is ALONE an arctifact so powerful it was used directly to summon archimonde, and in conjuction with the scepter of sargeras and the eye of dalaran to break a planet the size of sanctuary into bajillion smithereens whist opening near infinite portals to worlds from the other side of the universe by an " eh " being , i mean ner’zhul wasent all that powerful. soooo yee… he did tons more stuff actually too… but its too long and unrelated here, but if i tell u all of it you will actually believe hes stronger that azhara ( he is, but it isnt well known at ALL ) if yer intrested lemme know, ive done my fair share of search

I like heroes who scale well into the late-game.
I also like heroes with high kill-pressure (if you don’t do something about me fast, you’re gonna have a bad time).
Zergs - because I like civilizations that develop through biotechnologies
Main is Li Li, because cute panda is cute (A pretty good reason to me)
But main role is bruising/tanking because no one else ever wants to do it, and someone has to. It became my best role as a result, which is pretty pog
I got Kerri as my main. Mostly because i like to make those 3-4 man stuns if i’m lucky.
