Why chomp does different damage to different heroes

During a review of a recent game replay, I found that at about 200 stacks, Orphea’s chomp did 1.9k damage to Zarya but only 1.2k-1.4k damage to Sylvanas and Kael’thas. So why the damage varied?

Is it possible that someone on their team has access to Spell Armor? Or maybe they have someone that talents for reducing Orphea’s damage.

That’s a lot of damage, anyway, do you have the replay? That would be reaaaaally useful.

She can trait to do more damage to slowed heroes, might be something to do with that.

She can also trait to increase its damage but depends how close this damage is

It is likely because of ancestral strenght bonus damage at level 1.

As other have already stated there could have been various reasons for such difference:

  • Some targets could had a Spell Armor talent activated while other not;
  • If Orphea had Ancestral Strenght talent picked at level 1 than she had a bonus against cc’ed targets;
  • There could have been some extra buff on Orphea or debuff on some of the enemies.

A reply of the match could indeed help, but it’s probably just one of the above.
