I think it’s Tassadar. He’s a complete joke, it’s pathetic. His waveclear isn’t that good, his dmg is just sad, his utility is once every minute, and he’s basically a shield bot.
Why would anyone play this pathetic hero?

I must agree because he’s so unplayable on UD, HL/TL. I stopped to play him before his buff/rework.
Guys, I love Tassadar, but I can’t do something on him when he’s like now. Especially, when I can’t Play team 5 for now, and mostly play solo.
Gg WP.
Or because they enjoy him/her
They should revert the function that allowed Tassadar shields to remain indefinitely unless outdamaged. That alone would balance him out.
Right now it’s without question Tassadar. He’s so insanely niche. He’s also getting a rework in the “near future”. If you’re asking for legitimate reasons he’s typically picked as a dual lane soaking “safe” hero on a team with a diving auto attack hero on a map where you’re pretty sure to hit 20. It doesn’t get more niche than that. Oh…and the enemy team can’t have Alarak, Varian or Morales.
His wave clear is high end, especially late game or if he takes the psionic storm upgrade at level 1. Sure some heroes do it better like Malthael, but most do it worse.
A lot of heroes do worse damage… Bouncing auto attack with level 1 auto attack quest and percentage damage when trait is active does a surprisingly large amount of damage on top of the 100 per second odd and zone control from psionic storm. If you do not want to go that quest you can always go Archon with improved archon at level 20 for 300-400 AoE damage per attack. Yes his damage is low at low levels, but by level 20 he can be a real powerhouse well above most heroes and supports.
Or if you go shield wall at 10 and upgrade it at 20 it has near 100% up time. Being able to split the enemy team in half with a near impassable barrier is possibly one of the most powerful ultimates in the game. It also prevents anyone without a teleport or dash move from escarping since it has near 100% up time.
Shield is his only major weakness. Only life leach from auto attacks and only when shield is up. No option for reliably rehealing from abilities or when the shield is down. Shield does not have 100% up time.
He’s by far the most versatile hero in the game. He’s my most played hero by far and i have a 58% win rate on him with more than 1k games played. You have to know what talents to pick based on your teams needs the enemy comp and the map. He is hard to play for this reason he has no best or safe build. I do love hearing all the calls for buffs though. I can’t even imagine how OP he will be.
I really suck with him and don’t think he is that good but I’ve seen some good players with him and he seems to do alright in the right hands.
People used to think hammer was the worst character and I would get laughed at if selecting for HL. But now she seems to get pick all the time and she hasn’t see any buffs only nerfs.
I personal think their is worse heroes like Prob and Gaz
Because he’s fun? Or the person likes his kit? Just because you dont like something doesnt mean others dont as well.
Tassadar is still used in the pro scene and i personally have a very high win-rate with him. I don’t think he’s that bad and it’s probably not smart to compare heroes like this because they are all unique. You can’t just say a hero is overall bad/good because every hero has strength and weaknesses.
What about other heroes who are not getting played in the pro scene at all?
Wouldnt bother with this poster. His posts on the old forum basically sheds light on the type of person he is.
Sargeant Adabama “ADab the MC Hammer” Kowalski.
Tassadar is fun, and he can work well with certain heroes. Not just Tracer or Greymane, but for example Butcher excels when paired with Tassadar. I say this even if I think he needs a rework at the very least or, even better, a full redesign.
About who is the worst hero, I don’t think there is one. On paper it may be Tassadar, yes, because he has an abysmal winrate despite not being hard to use and having equally low popularity. But I think every hero has their strenghs and roles they fill okaish at the very least.
Tassadar isn’t fun, but he has his uses as a Q bot for tracer or other carries.
My personal vote for most useless hero in the game is probius, who takes a bunch of set up and timing to play well, and the reward for it is being a worse burst Mage.
I do not think that any hero is the worst, the most accurate I think it would be to say that they are very weak or do not have good use in the current meta.
A lot of people say Tassadar is the worst hero in the game, personally i don’t think so.
He is subpar, but not the worst. He can do well with certain heroes. In fact, there is only 1, or well, 3 heroes i’ve seen do poorly no matter what.
The Lost Vikings. I have never seen these guys contribute enough to team to justify them being picked, not even on large maps.
They are squishy and with all the mobility currently in the game, going and killing them won’t take that much time. Not to mention, their abilities are locked behind talents. And unlike Murky, these guys stay dead for a long time.
Couple all of that with having to keep eye on the entire map and macroing 3 heroes at once, the skill required to play him well just doesen’t justify picking him over any other hero imo.
…and I used to say, never say never, but people thinking about “currents” and “metas” are the worst players and they will never, EVER be Heroes.
Like, ever.

“Worst Hero” is a pretty vague term, I mean what are we talking about here exactly? Worst hero in terms of core design, worst in terms of overall power? I think I get what you mean but for me there are a lot of poorly designed heroes in this game that don’t make very much sense honestly, the worst probably being Medivh in that regard.
In terms of just power or usefulness to a composition I would say it’s Morales…Like I don’t even understand why anyone would ever pick this hero in late 2018.
Worst hero? Chen. I’d say Illidan, but Illigods can make him work. At least Tassadar has use in pro play. Sometimes.
