Who is the best % damage hero?

From those who have % damage in their base kit not acquired through talents.
From the top of my mind we have Leoric , Malthael and Tychus. Are there others?
From my experience playing as them i would have to say Tychus is the best.
He is great against melee heroes, good against ranged ones, has good waveclear, good siege damage, and can 1vs 1 both Malthael and Leoric.
Leoric is quite good against anything melee(if you dont miss your Drain Hope), not so good against ranged heroes, has great waveclear but lacks in the siege damage. The same things with Malthael i would say.
Any other opinions?

Alotta people gloss over is thrall. Hes got roughly 24% max health damage in one burst.

Maybe E build Fenix with his 16 % talent? I dunno

Vikings is not bad at level 13 your dishing out pretty crazy % damage, plus having a bunch of tanks and high hp heroes on the enemy team generally pans out better then assassins for laning purposes in the early-mid game. 1.25% an auto attack and with all 3 of them (eric in particular) that might pan out higher then the others mentioned (assuming you can sustain the auto attack)

It depends, Tychus % damage is only good if his target stands in range long enough and Tychus isn’t cc’d. No one shreds tanks faster though.

Leo is the most tanky of the 3 and is very strong post 16 with the right talents, he is the tankiest of the 3 and does a lot of sustained damage, has good waveclear but is kinda bad at camps. Remember he has an AA build with leech as well. It is very good defiantly better vs mobile heroes than W build as his AA’s hit harder and give him sustain.

Malth is pretty squishy for a bruiser, he has the best wave/camp clear however he runs out of mana quick if you are not careful. He does sustained percent damage if you can keep in range and alive. W build can give you some percent damage burst.

Counters most bruisers 1 on 1 in the solo lane but can be burst down quickly in a team fight if you are not careful.

Imperius with trait level one is a good source of % damage if he fits into your comp. If they pick DW solo lane on a 2 lane map Imp will bully him out of lane. If you go % level 1, Q level 7, Q level 16, Q level 20 you are an a o e percent damage self healing monster if you land your Q’s at 20.

Sylvanas if you take her % damage level one, isn’t bursty like tychus but is decent. if you need % damage, great wave/camp clear, turn forts off and a silence.

I played Q build tassadar today and with Q cd reduction and Q percent damage talent I was chunking Muradin and Leo for massif chunks of hp. Also I went Q stack level 1 and archon to lower spell armour.

Thrall, Fenix, TLV dont have % damage in their base kit but through talents at different levels.

Heroes who get % damage with talents are quite a few. From those i like Lunara, Valla and Fenix,

Best? Since the 3 you mentioned are 2 Bruisers and 1 R.Assassin, it’s pretty hard to compare them to each other because tho they all do %-based dmg, their jobs and purposes are quite different.

Yes but we can still discuss who is the best all-rounder from these 3.
I feel Tychus is the safest pick in any composition. He excels at his job and do other things well.
Leo is also a good all-rounder although i feel he isnt that good against ranged heavy.
Maltahel is more of a niche pick, great against melee heavy but struggles against ranged.

I’d say Leo is the best because he can dual well

I think Leo is the beat of the 3.

You can play around tychus pretty easily.

Greymane’s Cursed Bullet just ends fights. I’d say that’s my favorite percent-damage-from-talents hero.

Ends them or he starts them?
Cursed bullet does 35% of the CURRENT health in damage.
So if Chogall has 7000 HP at the start of the fight a landed Cursed Bullet would do 2450 damage. If the same Chogall is damaged and has 1000 HP the same Cursed Bullet would do 350 damage. So when its better to do it?

From talents, my fav is Imperius.

Also GM has more than CB, Alpha Killer goes brrr!

Starts, and by the same token, often ends. When a tank instantly loses 35% at the start of a fight (never mind the rest of the opponents piling on), they may panic: die, retreat, and/or blow big cooldowns. The healer has to snap-focus the tank as well and may be similarly impacted. Regardless, it can be devastating.

That said, it’s not bad to melt away 350 health from a 1000 health target. Very easy to finish the target off.

Butcher- once he has a few hundred meat he hits for 200-400, once he gets 500+ he hits for 600-800 a hit, with a life steal that extends its duration everytime he lands a hit on the branded target.

that’s reasonable thinking

I wouldn’t say Malth is bad, he’s just more of a niche pick than other 2.

I pick him to lane into hogger sometimes or if they have a low burst bulky comp.

Imperius definately seems a bit slept on, i’ve seen him mentioned once but if you need percent damage and an extra stun he’s your guy.

In fact i’d say from a pure percent damage standpoint sometimes i’d prefer him over Leo.

Leo’s % damage is kinda meh and slow until 13 if you take the life leech. Imperius will chunk you down from level 1 with % damage talent.

I play them both and tend to pick Leo more but I still find situations i’d rather have Imp especially since they buffed his cleave talent.
