Who are the Early Game Heroes?

Hello all, had a question, but I realized the answer could be considered subjective, so I figure I’d throw it out to discuss.

There are a number of heroes that we consider late game heroes, who clearly have better-than-average talents, but whose builds tend not to come together until they peak, either at 16 or sometimes all the way to 20 when they finally “come online”. These are heroes like Kharazim whose sniping potential doesn’t really get cracking until he takes Hundred Fists at 16, Nazeebo whose Vile Infection rips people up at 20, or Lucio whose level 16 talent brings his healing output from mediocre to excellent.

Conversely, you have heroes like Dehaka who are excellent characters overall, but whose 16/20 talent is basically mild utility - good to have, but not exactly the crowning talent of a build, nothing that boosts damage/healing output by half or makes you unkillable.

So then, who are these heroes who dominate the early game? Who don’t need 13, 16, and 20 talents to say “build is done, let’s go kill stuff!”

Off the top of me head…

Zagara often filled this role of an early game bully, being able to shut people out of lanes before they get access to their better talents, but falling back to a poke/siege role due to weak team fighting.

Kerrigan has always been able to do some great early game havoc, capable of bursting people for impressive damage without any talents. Despite her early game prowess though, her later talents don’t have a huge presence, and others soon catch up to her.

Who else? Who else would you pick if you wanted to say “okay, let’s go for a good early game”?

Most of the AA heroes are relatively strong early game, especially those that do not rely on a stacking quest for damage. Raynor, Fenix, and Cassia will all scale, but not as sharply as other assassins. For healers, Whitemane has probably the biggest early game spike. As far as tanks go, you generally do not want to hang around Arthas too long, even before he gets his heroic.
