TBH, I spent more money on this game before their ridiculous 2.0 “upgrade.” Now, I just wait for the free chests and hope something good comes up…but, I’ve already got what I want. I can buy heroes with in-game gold. So, they did this to themselves.

i admit i am like you, since you can’t buy thing directly, but by those Crystal, i never put any € in the game anymore since that day.

That “ridiculous” upgrade was great for those of us who didn’t want to spend $10 every time we wanted something

If you didn’t spend money before, you’re most likely not spending it now, either. Sure, you have a chance to get what you want without paying for it and that’s great for you. But, from the perspective of Blizzard, they lost money when they went to 2.0. And, now, they are putting the game on life support/maintenance mode/whatever you want to call it because it’s obviously not a money maker for them anymore.

why would they? They didnt refund the people who paid for skins before they made them basically free in 2.0. Epic probably makes more money than all of activision combined with just fortnite.

I’ll still take it over the alternative. There was no decent way to acquire characters, mounts, and so on before the 2.0 change. There were no good deals to acquire such things before either, like Smite that had the $30 deal where you got every character and each one that came out afterwards.

Sorry but I’m not going to sit there and spend $10 every time I want something, as that shiz adds up quick if you’re looking to get more than one thing.
