When is the next patch?

I thought it was gonna be yesterday, but I guess not.
Anyone have a guess as to when it might be? Thanks.

Data miners discovered winter event/winter veil skins or content, but that’s all the info we have. No dates.

Someone (last week I think) guessed it would be before the end of the year, but it doesn’t seem like it’s happening (it’s already 23 PM in California as of this message).

Chinese new year is Feb 12th in 2021? That’s the next ‘significant’ date I can think of, but I hope it’s earlier than that.
They’ve had previous CNY content (lunar).

From recent patterns, we’re most likely getting a new patch within the first 10 days of each month.

Christmas break. The devs are off for the holidays, so don’t expect a new patch for at least another week or 2.

The only patches which have “patterns” are the follow up to reworks/new heroes. They do a patch 3 weeks after.

Otherwise patches are targeted to be every 3-5 weeks.

Will the Devs finally be in the office or at least working from home tomorrow morning? First Monday of 2021 and the Holidays are finally over. There’s a lot of work to be done with this fantastic game! I’d hope for some type of news tomorrow.

given the state of SoCal, I imagine they’re still doing work from home.

23rd was the last day they worked, so I imagine they’ll be back on Monday!

I called it here, but I forgot that humans take break during the holidays, silly them.

According to last year, it affects only a single patch and doesn’t delay the others.

So, here it goes again:

  • Balance patch v 2.53.1 on Jan 6.
  • Balance patch v 2.53.2 on Feb 3.
  • PTR for Probius, Valeera or Nova rework v 2.54.0 on Feb 22.
  • Live version v 2.54.0 on March 2.
