Sure they could be a bit thicker but they need to stand out from Tyrael’s i guess.

And the walking animation fits him. All other angels float. He walks like a badass.

Tyraels wings are normally long.

Probably to differ him from Tyrael, same reason why he’s not flying, but it could be something else.

Golden wings are already pretty different from blue. Auriel and Malthael were fine with their wings?

His wings are indeed small ingame for my taste as well.
He also has only 4 voicelines while everyone else have 5.
Plus the colour tints of his gem skin don’t change the colour of his wings which are weird imo.

Probably to not have a humongous oversized hitbox or make his hitbox hard to gauge .

i’d assume the wings took a hit so his other spell effects (like molten armor) stand out and aren’t overshadowed at certain angles ingame.

hots design has been particular at handing effects/silhouettes stand out even when the hero is very different from their norm via unique skins
