The master players have showed great motivation dedication and willingness to reach master.
So now I need to say bye to friends who I been playing ranked with on masters for 2 years?!
I know about the smurfing problem. You dont have to mention it. I experienced it a lot. But I didnt saw it that often.
Still let masters queue up together. This is just a unfair punishment for fair players who have trained with each other to get where they are.
And you trowing it into the garbage? All the hard work and coordination put into each other.
And why!? because its a free to play game and smurfing exist?
If you queue up as 3+ (so 3, 4 or 5 ) you faced mostly great players. Not only the trash players. Matches were fair
But then why only the masters players who are getting punished? why not every other rank? There is where the smurfing hits the hardest. Why not punish diamond players too? They are concidered high league. And most peoples ultimate goal is to reach master. But still they can abusive the heck out of this system in order to reach masters. Gold people can queue up with diamonds.

might as well quit cause diamond is like bronze. tons of toxic players and feeders / afkers no thank you it was bad enough climbing out of it by myself.
you play master, where you don’t get toxic players so often and average skill is higher, BUT you can’t play with other master or less rank players. Solo Storm League.

you play diamond, where most players are toxic and selfish af, but you can play with friends, what don’t have master rank.
“solo storm league” and matched with people you don’t know / probably boosted players who will 100% ruin your game / possibly feeders and ragequitters who don’t care about winning etc. “no way you can play with friend’s” i thought they wanted people to play with friend’s now they want “specific” rank to stop doing so? and why not all the ranks? literally the worst idea EVER
yes i met those which resulted in me losing most of my games. 2 guys didn’t like our “Azmodan” pick and they were so pissed over it the azmodan played well and yet these pricks were like “you don’t deserve to win this game” and actually pretended to play but in away that they make sure they die and act like “they tried”…
This is indeed rediculous because I heard in a other thread that diamonds+ GM’s are the problem. Thats why they are doing this.
Whats the point of storm league if the end goal is to play solo

I agree. I have to occassionally dip into d2-d1 (skill not high enough to permanently stay above low master) and it is a different game. It’s not as fun. It’s actually kind of painful to play that league in solo queue. It is as full of trolls and afks as Bronze or Silver.
Even at the risk of sounding too severe (given how few players it has), I think you are only likely to meet serious players in this game at master+. Odds of afks, griefers, feeders etc. also decreases to practically 0.
Because all the top tier players are asking for quality games, which doesnt involve facing stacks as a solo player. You could’ve abused the system since the beginning, since it was flawed, for example you said you’ve played with your group since forever to master so what proves you’re an actual master player and that you werent carried by your mates? Personally I’ve seen waay too many boosted master players and I know this is a decent change, being able to cheese yourself to the highest rank is not healthy for the game. But the lower ranks? Same potato fiesta. No HGC=No point in promoting 5stacks in ranked, if you wanna have fun with your friends try another gamemode.
I was GM in hero league. Master in teamleague. So bolt statemant mate. I know you said for example. But if you are master for multiple seasons I think you have earned your place. Carried your own weight

This is easily the best argument I’ve ever seen for never playing ranked and is going to be what I refer to every time someone says something along the lines of “they should push more people to playing ranked mode”, “the only matches that matter are ranked ones”, “if you aren’t happy with complete anarchy in QM you should just play ranked”, or any other such nonsense.
