This is literally happening every day.
I got a friend of mine that got banned in Ranked for a few days for this very same behaviour. Someone reported him in these forums. He’s now rehabilitated, stoic and ready for life in society again.
Jokes aside, how can we get rid of this individuals? @blizzard

I just mute people who bother me and dont even type to say muted because that will get me reported. But spread love not hate
Your friend probably got reported for bad behavior probably for inapropriate actions in the game. Look, if your respectfull twoards your team members in a game, it wont happen. but if your intensly harassing someone your account can be banned. I agree with @Glomgold, if you cant help listening to someone, just mute him. I personaly mute them or lauph at them. I also get tilded but thats when I know I pushed my boundaries to far and I need to take a break, go for a walk or a run or other stuf. You can see it as an opertunity to exercise your humbleness which is a life skill. Sometimes you need to take shots, but how much can you handle in order to think strait and come up with a reason without shooting all over the place curses. And then if they cant answer back in a civilsed way, you are then faced with the harsh reality of life, that there is a percentage of people that cant handle their brains well.
I’m not playing a game to learn how to handle people’s brains. I learn that in my job, daily. I’m playing a game for fun. Justifying this behaviour saying that the rest should accept it and just mute it is not the appropriate approach imo.
These things is what make a game great or cause it to sink to the mud over the years. Now, if you just mute them and don’t report them, that’s up to you. I will report them in these forums. If not, how could i even complain about Blizzard abandoning HotS long term?
The moderators of a game should be doing smth. Are you advocating for them to do nothing? Or that they are even unnecessary?
well, to answer the OP, “what is wrong with people” is that they don’t learn the difference between “literally” and not literally 
Well you can simply report them and if they are annoying enough you just mute them in order to minimize your loss (you may lose the game but not your health and account). What would be interesting is that you could have an additional option, “only enemies” , so the system will never put you together for a period like say a week. I do get some people that come to my rank games 2-3 times in a row and just kill my stats because they simply feed under a tower because they are raging for some reason or not participating at all.

Oh, well this is a statement I can understand. As Hots is a very team focused game, you are in a manner “handling people’s brain”, as often your social skills, or lack of, can mean the difference between a win and a loss. Knowing if or how you can calm down someone who is tilted or trolling, is a valuable skill to attain, sometimes needed as much as your micro or macro skills.
Yes, it can feel that you’re babysitting children, but eh, that’s basically an online thing, and not exclusive to Hots.
You don’t want to. That’s considered a callout which can get you in trouble.
