What is Spell Armor?
What is, “reducing the damage taken by the next Ability by 50%. Gain 1 charge per cast and store up to 4 charges.”?

Spell armor reduces the damage taken from non % health spell damage.
A vast majority or spell damage comes from abilities. Most purple damage numbers are in this category.

If im not wrong, this is li ming’s force armor.
Basically what this does is youll take half damage from the next instance of spell damage you take.
So if you were pyroblasted

Pyroblast
80 Mana Cooldown: 100 seconds
After 1.5 seconds, cast a slow-moving fireball that deals 810 damage to an enemy Hero and 405 damage to enemies nearby.

You would only take 405 damage.

Its a very powerful talent against some heroes.
One thing you want to watch out for is anything that hits more then once will drain your charges very quickly for very little effect. This includes Dots.

Living Bomb
50 Mana Cooldown: 10 seconds
Deal 126 damage over 3 seconds to an enemy, then they explode dealing 215 damage to all nearby enemies. Other Heroes damaged by this explosion are also affected by Living Bomb, though the secondary explosions cannot spread.

This is an example of something it would be much less effective against.

Auto attack damage (damage heroes do when you right mouse click enemy) is physical damage (unless specified, modified by talents). Any other ability damage is spell damage.

Spell armor will reduce ability damage, but not AA (auto attack) damage. Note, % hp damage, even from abilities, is not considered spell damage. Like, if you get Last Rite ult from Malthael, spell armor won’t stop the damage.

what is “non % health spell damage”?

As I mentioned, some abilities do % hp damage. Don’t think it that way but think it as, ability damage = spell damage (exception: % hp damage is not spell damage).

Li mings force armor for 400 please.

what is that mean?

how to use it?

IT is a pronoun that represents, things, objects, animals, plants…basically IT can be used to represent anything except people. IT is an interesting little word in English because that word has a number of uses. Do you know how to use IT? Take a look at the paragraph below and then check out today’s lesson:

It’s such a nice day today. It’s sunny and warm and the sky is bright blue. I don’t think it will rain at all. A day like this reminds me of the first time I went sailing. I remember it very clearly. It was just as nice of a day. I was in a place called Oyster Bay. Have you ever heard of it? It is a beautiful place to spend a nice afternoon. It was my sister who first told me about it and I have gone there every summer since that time.

It is a pronoun. That means it is a professional noun. (No, that’s just a joke!) As a pronoun, we use it to represent things that were just mentioned in the conversation, like this:

  • I lost my book. Have you seen it? Here, it means my book. I just mentioned my book, so it represents my book.
  • I was in a place called Oyster Bay. Have you ever heard of it? ← it represents Oyster Bay
  • Star Wars is an amazing movie. I have seen it many times. ← it represents Star Wars

We use It to refer to words like anything, everything, & nothing, like this:

  • Anything tastes better deep fried, doesn’t it?
  • Everything was ok after the storm, wasn’t it?
  • I ate everything she served. It was delicious.
  • Nothing happened yesterday, did it?

We use it when we talk about time, weather, and distance:

  • It’s such a nice day today.
  • It looks like rain. I’d better take my umbrella.
  • It’s five o’clock. Let’s go home.
  • What time is it?
  • It’s three thousand miles from New York to California.

We use it to refer to situations and events, like this:

  • Tom: How was your trip to Orlando?
  • Bob: There was a baby crying on the plane. It was terrible! ← It refers to the situation of the baby crying on the plane.
  • I tried to explain the situation, but it didn’t make her any happier. ← It refers to my trying to explain the situation.

We also use it to when we identify people, either on the phone or in person. In such cases, we do not use the personal pronouns he or she:

  • Jane: Who’s on the phone?
  • Jenny: It’s Ann. Do you want to talk to her? Not, She’s Ann.
  • Look at that table over there! I think it’s Johnny Depp! Not, I think he is Johnny Depp.

i mean what is , “force armor for 400 please”?
and how to do it?

Force Armor

When Magic Missiles damages an enemy Hero, gain 50 Spell Armor against the next enemy Ability, reducing the damage taken by 50%. Can only gain 1 charge per cast, up to 4 charges maximum.

Passive: Li Ming’s Mana regeneration is increased by 100% while below 35% Mana.

Type: Defensive damage modifier

Affects: Self

Properties: Spell Block

  • Does not stack with itself or other positive Armor effects. Other defensive damage modifiers may stack.

Spell Block

Spell Block is a generic Talent Spell Armor against a finite number of Spell damage instances, instead of set duration, Like Spell Shield Physical Armor granting counterpart, Block.

Skilled use of Abilities utilizing Spell Block can neutralise lot of damage from enemy Abilities with high burst damage in single of few instances. Due to their charge nature, however, they are weak against small and periodic damage, as even smallest damage instances can continuously consume a block charge, making it difficult to gain value from negating more dangerous Abilities.

Abilities and Talents that grant Spell Block

  • Illidan’s level 13 talent Sixth Sense grants two block charges of 75 Spell Armor when Evasion is activated.
  • Li-Ming’s level 1 talent 'Force Armor grants one block charge of 50 Spell Armor, if Magic Missiles hits an enemy Hero, up to 4 charges.
  • Orphea’s level 13 talent 'Determination grants one block charge of 50 Spell Armor after dashing with Shadow Waltz, up to 2 charges.
  • Ragnaros’ level 4 talent Fire Ward grants one block charge of 50 Spell Armor every time a Hero is hit by Living Meteor, up to 2 charges.
  • Samuro’s level 4 talent Mirage grants him and his illusions two block charges of 40 Spell Armor when Mirror Image is cast.

Waterlong did you really just spend energy to tell a troll all those things ?
