So what if the healing fountains we’ve been drinking from are actually just toilets used by the locales? There doesn’t seem to be a bathroom on any of the maps so its possible they just use the fountains to do their business.
Even still, I think the locales definitely pee in it.
Would you still drink from them if this was true?

i’d think of them more as public baths than toilets, even still, until a battle erupts there aren’t any buildings, so i assume “the locals” use the bathroom behind the stadium.

Wrong. There is no toilet paper anywhere on the map to indicate these structures to be what you claim them to be.
These are public water fountains for the public to enjoy, and for the homeless to bathe in.

Bit off topic, but this reminds me of a pun from the Xanth series.
A character who can make inanimate objects talk is thirsty and asks a well what kind of well it is and if its safe to drink. The well responds with “Midas well.” The character shrugs and agrees “Might as well,” and is only saved by another more astute member of his group telling him to wait and then tossing a rock into the well, which then turns to solid gold and sinks to the bottom.
Actually, if the fountain turned you gold for the duration of the healing would be fun. Nah! Never happen.

Bruh, Stitches would basically be the number in the pool if he got in. Have you seen that gaping hole with his bile-dripping intestines hanging out? That pool would become a life-threatening biohazard in about 3 seconds.

I’m no history expert but I don’t remember a lot of civilizations relieving themselves in their water supply. At least none that lasted very long.
