2 games in a row vs abathur = support + a healer but my team has 0 support only a healer? why it no longer give both teams support hero?

“support” isn’t a real role. QM only guarantees healer vs healer and tank/bruiser vs tank/bruiser.
no no it used to give both teams support it just doesn’t recently after the patch for whatever reason…

you’re wrong. you realize there’s only like 4 support heroes total, right
yes? and people play all of them so? every game i played with a support enemy team had a support now it doesn’t anymore = something changed. it wasn’t always like this

I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve had plenty of games both before and after the recent patch where a support hero was only on 1 side.

that’s very weird in that case. that’s why i was asking most of the time enemy team have abathur i get either zarya or medivh or vikings also RIP tassadar since he used to be there too. i guess i was just lucky in that case? meh…
This rule only apply if there isn’t a healer in the game.

that’s not what i’ve been experiencing before. so that only means i was being lucky to have both in each team with healers too. but my luck has been drained 
I believe a little while back it was changed to support gets matched against a support unless both teams have a healer.
It may have changed again since then, though.

yeah you never know what happened. oh well… i guess it’s just a rare chance for both teams to have a support + healer on each team.

I think I know what you mean. I see the same, but it is mostly in the case of a weak healer vs strong healer. For example, Lucio vs. Kharazim and Abathur, Zarya vs. Abathur, etc.
I have a lot of matches that make me think Tass is still being counted as a Support. Mainly because I was under the impression the game matched supports against each other. Both are probably anecdotal, but that seemed like a good matchmaking rule

the mm rules for supports, and bruisers were only if teams weren’t match with a healer, or a tank, respectively.
Tass hasnt been pulled from the support matching, so its not uncommon to see him against another support.
Did you have tassadar?
Anyway support mirroring is not forced in QM and abathur is very common there him being an easy backseat hero plus abusing tracer there.
It is forced; same as with bruisers and tanks the rule does not apply when healers are present.

It is not strictly enforced.
There are quite the number of games where supports are not mirrored especially if you pick abathur since he is the most played support.
Support is always mirrored in QM if healer isn’t present.
If a healer is present on both teams, you may have situations like one team with Viking or Abathur but the other team with no support at all.
