What gets you legendary chests?

I was just given one, but I’m not sure why. I’m level 1775, so it’s not in 50 or 100 increments. It happened when I got Alarak to Lvl 10.

What are the requirements?

it is when u get 8 kill streak in league of legends (i use garen because he is like bladestorm) and then u get chest for it in hots. i do not like league of legends though so i do not get legendary chest. congrats on ur chest though dude

50 ranked games gets you one is the only way I know about

I didn’t think there were legendary chests,
just legendary loot from any chest

You get a special hero-tied chest when you reach level 10 with it. So if it contained Alarak based items, it was his chest

No, I got two different chests. An Alarak chest, and a Legendary chest.

Could it be possible that blizzard changed the drop rate of legendary chests?

I don’t know what it used to be. I only ever got one I think. And I can’t remember what it was for.

I can’t tell you either. I’m playing too sporadically to be able to see any pattern.

I’m not sure about the legendary chests, either. What has changed for me, or I’ve been lucky, from my experience it feels they changed the drop rate on the 1-day boosts, as I’ve received 5 in the past 2 weeks. Furthermore, I understand they aren’t the Christmas chests anymore, but back when we had the regular ones, I never received as many boosts in such a short time frame.

They may have reduced the drop rates of boosts back when they had the holiday event. Since you could get unlimited loot boxes, and everyone was playing like crazy, it would make sense to not let people also get a bunch of free boosts.

It probably was still active with holiday chests even though there was no more event.
