I thought it is supposed to give me 50 extra points every time, but I kept getting -50 for three games
https://imgur.com/a/bCzAf2ZI’m not sure if the after game math is right but redemption should mean that if you for example disconnect and tank 400 points for leaving the draft, you will be able to redeem that amount over the next 10 games or so at a 40 points per game. It’s intended as an encouragement to keep playing as the game will pretend you never dodged a game or left it mid-draft, giving you what you lost back after you’ve proven that you aren’t doing it on purpose.
I’ve never dodged SL game before. I did lose 2000+ points due to decay but I don’t even think they give redemption for decay…? But now I got a -50 redemption for each of my game ._.
Interesting. I had the same thing after a long period of Rank Decay. I have not left a game for at least 1+ year, but now I keep winning/losing 500-600 pts per match, and if I lose I also lose an extra -50 due to “Penalty Redemption”. After I demoted from D1 to D2 I lost an extra 50 points.
I think the game penalizes you for not playing Ranked for a few weeks, by hitting you with an extra penalty if you lose.
I also have not left a game recently and have not seen this in my last bunch of games. Then, all of a sudden it shows up. Is this “penalty redemption” for reporting? LOL. I report smurfs, afk/leavers, and toxic essentially in every game at this point…makes me wonder.
