i was playing illidan one game and i took the burning talent at level one and the abilities heal talent at level seven
the burning talent wasn’t causing heals to happen
another game i was playing as murky and i took the abilities heal at level thirteen and the pufferfish make enemy heroes take damage over time at level sixteen
the pufferfish damage over time was healing me
both of these things say basic abilities, so what are they? i am very confused
Wrath of Cod does extra 15% of the targets max HP and grants extra healing from Fish Tank. The burn from Immolation is an aura effect rather than a basic ability.
Because Immolation is not a basic ability. Its additional effect caused by/procs after using basic ability. You might want to consider it Burning Aura talent.
If it said “(spell) damage done by Illidan” or Immolation straight up increased W damage, sure.
That said, I agree it could be great combo and tbh I dunno why they didnt change it to buff HO.
Didnt even think about it
But yeah, its damage dealt by Puffer, which is basic ability.
I might be wrong, but I think Illidan will gain healing from nano boost upgrade too while using Q or W. Just not from the secondary effect of Immolation.
Immolation is separate effect, procced by basic ability.
Malganis heals for % of damage dealt, Ana increases healing. Anas nade will work on HO too btw. Anas grenade bonus is applied at the very end of all the healing received formula.
I personally like to pick HO with Marked for Death once in a while. This works, because bonus damage comes from basic ability.
I dont agree “aura” got anything to do with it. Nano Infusion will heal Arthas thanks to his aura. Illidans HO would heal Arthas.
But Burning Rage (forgot the name before) is separate ability/effect. Arthas aura is basic ability.
so you are saying if i am playing ana, and i pick nano infusion at 20, it will cause any spell damage that is dealt to heal? even if it is from an aura?
Yes, every spell damage dealt by hero affected by Nano Infusion should heal him. It doesnt matter if its talent or not.
While we are at it, Im not 100% sure if Murky wont get healing from WoC extra damage. I think he shouldnt, since its % damage and it wont be affected by Nano as well. But who knows.
Sorry but that doesnt make sense. If its not affected by spell power value, then its not a spell. For what spell calculation is it used?
CoD or Cursed Bullet give heroes healing when affected by Nano Infusion?
