Do you think the idea of endless quests work or do you prefer the older system like in Hallow’s End?
Dont like Hallow,s end since there was no in game timer that tells us how long it lasts. Due to that i did not finish it. +it kinda forces you to play.
So all in all i like this.Honestly i preffer this more since all the quests i got are ez to do. No condition ones like before.
It’s nice to have small mini-quests. They seem generic enough to allow playing preferred heroes.
Some of them are a bit confusing, e.g. destroy forts in winning games doesn’t count sometimes. In general, the winning part isn’t great.
Not entirely sold by the child theme. It might be the new focus with the softer announcers as well.
Endless quest decision this time was good, you get rewarded more for playing the game.
One thing you have to realize with this endless quest is that it doesn’t have a “play with friend” requisite – at least none I’ve encountered. So it is good if you really just want to kill time and hope you luck out with the chests. It is especially good for people like me who don’t have much low level heroes to spam for chests.
Although that said, the RNG aspect of the dice can be… frustrating. But I chalk that up to my bad luck in general XD
But you know given the changes to the XP mechanic, and possible fine tuning, I’m happy enough spamming vs AI and completing these quests. It at least gives me something to pass time while still adjusting to the new changes.
Seems like a prototype for an adventure mode. Very intriguing.
its nice. but blizz needs to put qm back to patch day qal. within 30 sec now its expanding and giving me low qal team mates. thanks forum whiners…
- i like that there is no mandatory join a group with ‘friends’ this event
- i like that its kind of like a bunch of repeatable daily quests
- i dont like ‘only in winning games’. i have been trying to get this damn warrior quest done (ranked) and its been loss after loss. im not some noob on warriors either. i main warriors and supports. im totally getting matched with potatoes. seriously. this win only condition blows as always if you dont want to AI 100% of the time.
I’m glad that people have the option of completing all of the quests in Vs AI (and without Bnet friends), but once I’ve gone around the board once, that will probably be it for me.
EDIT: Well, I ended up going around the board a second time, and that kid popped up again and said something about it. I figured if I was leveling heroes for holiday lootboxes, I might as well keep doing the quests for the stickers.
better than last one
I like how we can get chests fairly faster than usual with the dice quests.
The one thing I don’t like is randomly getting the same quest twice.
If I had another in between it wouldn’t feel so repetitive.
Personally I hate that they seem to always want winning games to progress - just feels like I should be spamming AI for wins instead of actually playing the game normally in QM.
I appreciate the time they put into to develop these new quests, but personally I prefer the older system, kept it simple. I was also nice that these old quests were mini-games before the match started, you could do a little team bonding, or simply have fun sharing the quest.
Gave me 2 effing warrior matches, I don’t like using warrior, and I’ve lost 4 out of my last 5 games.
Honestly, I’m growing to hate the roll-the-die-to-move mechanism. I keep rolling a 1 or 2 and having to clear yet another common quest (often repeats) before I can proceed. It feels unnecessary longer to complete than past holiday quest chains.
Does anyone know how the “destroy forts” one works? I just won a game destroying all forts and all keeps but it only gives me 2/10
I think this is a fun idea.
It’s been good for a laugh.
Sucks that I went 0-6 today. I think I need to grind out a few more losses to get the system to force me some wins again. Should be back to normal by the end of the week.
Best event so far!
I think it’s obviously designed to encourage people to play more games than they otherwise would on average. There is nothing terribly wrong with it, but not everyone has the free time.
