What are the level caps now?

I’m not completely new to the game but haven’t played for ages. Can someone tell me what the level caps are now? Both player and Hero caps, if you please… Thanks in advance!

There is no more level cap for heroes or player, as far as heroes go: each lvl up costs slightly more then the last up until hero lvl 12, then all levels after require the same exp to reach next lvl, so a lvl 12 and a lvl 25 require the same amount of exp to level.

Hero cap is lvl 999.

Account cap is based on the amount of heroes you have * lvl 999 or something close to that.

Confirmed from a dev? No.

Confirmed by the fact that there is a literal 3 digit cap for data entries in the CASC files? Yes.

So it’s either 999 or Blizzard learned nothing from the y2k bug and allow levels to roll over to 0. I’m assuming whatever database they use on their server actually won’t allow that, so …

fair enough.

I imagine mostly due to UI than actual limitation.

Hero cap is confirmed 999. I know a player who has a level 999 hammer and he stopped leveling.

There’s a Tass player in SG server, with lv. 999, fought against and with him many times.

So, it’s 999 for hero cap.
