Weekend players get such a bad rep because they’re drunk or casual players but i enjoy them so much more than midweek players. Holy cow the unemployment crowd is so toxic. 3 games in a row and i have 2 players each just abusing their teammates. Its like they genuinely have nothing else going on in their life and they need to win these games to get self-worth.
Im all for being competitive and not going to pretend to be an angel but come on guys. This game should be used for fun and not some outlet for self-worth. Its really not that deep.

I’ve played Hots in the whee hours, weekdays, weekends, and there are always disruptive players, no matter the time of week or day. There are times I’ve encountered more than that usual share, but again, that can happen at any time in my experience.
This is a good point. All you need to do is look at the forums to confirm that players have very different ideas of, what constitutes, fun or competitive. The high number of people who demand ARAM be balanced, with some even requesting “ranked” ARAM, in a mode that was designed to be an inherently non-competitive and non-serious mode, leads me believe that what time of the day or week they play, has no correlation with players who are disruptive or simply can’t enjoy any mode without being highly competitive.
I’m almost impressed at the sheer number of dog whistles can you cram into a topic that is completely unrelated to said whistling.
As established in another thread, I’m a hopless oldie with little grasp on modern lingo, but I do read, and your lingo is rooted firmly in 2014 gamer gate rhetoric.
Indeed, your favorite word to use normies, is part of a title of a book, that reflects back to that time, which is now over a decade ago.

On topic, anytime is a bad time for Hots. I’ve never noticed anything different in
the time of day I play. When the game wants to throw garbage at me, and it does
this VERY often, you’re getting stuck on garbage duty.

for me it seems random, there are days there’s barely any AFK and I get team players who play to win, and there are days where every single match has a AFK or a troll that walks into the gate over and over for 10+ games straight.

The forced 50% WR monster is pretty obvious isn’t it

long story short
agreed
It certainly would explain how you could dedicate an entire day to trying to
get out of a Rank and get 0 results.
Actually no, there’s also a chance you end up doing worse.

Didn’t you hear? 50% wr means game is balanced. Even if it means you have 50% wr this season while you were placed in silver, next season you’re 50% wr and you’re plat, next next season you’re 50% wr and you’re gold. It just means you’re rank-fluid.

I guess there’s two types of gamers:
- Those that want to win.
- Those that don’t care.
I’d say you encounter more of Type 1 on weekdays and more of Type 2 on weekends. Pick your poison.
As for me, I can’t stand Type 2 unless it’s quick match and only QM. Why? Well, because QM is the only place where you can queue up as a specific hero to practice against real humans.
