We did get something close to a Blizzard cartoon

So if you have time look up the show called Love, Death & Robots and check out the episode Suits. (on Netflix atm)
It has the feel of something very StarCraft and it showcase what an animated Blizzard IP might look like outside fan made stuff, game trailers and cinematics .

I was talking about L,D&R to some friends because season 3 is about to hit and I said Suits was my favorite episode and I wish a studio would pick it up and make it into a series because it would be the closest we get to a SC show!
And that’s when my bud says “It’s funny you said that guess who the voice actors also voice from that episode?”

That’s right! The hypothetical Blizzard cartoon was closer then I thought because the voice actors also play roles in World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm and StarCraft! Yeah baby!
My mind was blown!

A few years back, there had been talks of Overwatch and Doablo getting shows on netflix. The diablo one had people post about it on twitter, but since the project has since been canceled those tweets have been deleted and only a couple of places have screen caps of those tweets existing.

Word on the overwatch one has been more hush-hush, so I don’t know of that is still in the works or whatnot, but I don’t know how much of a “cartoon” either of that would have been or — or may yet still be — in the event either is picked up on something that isn’t netflix or rather, if the microsoft acquisition is going to affect those at all, of if they are that dead and buried.

Right now it’s best Blizzard didn’t push forward on bringing anything to Netflix seeing it’s becoming a curse to anything animated.
