That’s part of the solo lanning too! There’s A LOT that people do not understand about it that they think it’s pushing the lane, when its not, you pretty much putting yourself in advantage if you do this in the early game.
There’s also proxying, which is a form of soaking I think. Murky can do it pretty well, but I’m not sure how efficient it is because you’re probably going to die if they go handle you.
IIRC Murky in the high league goes specifically pufferfish (mainly Tufferfish) and is a terror mostly on Garden of Terror, also you are suppose to rotate between lanes constantly in the sake of double soak and building up stacks, basically:
- Slime.
- Throw a Pufferfish (with tufferfish talent of course).
- Rotate to the closest lane.
- Repeat.
Also get camps whenever you actually have the stacks of course.
Yeah that makes sense. I’m not a Murky main, I’ve only played him a few times but I’ve some Murky’s proxy close to the enemy bruiser or siege camps and then bribe the came. Murky is like a child, you leave him alone, he’ll cause chaos.
So am I, but I’ve been reading and seeing how he works, he’s mostly played like that, just keep rotating soak 2 lanes and sell minion corpses to camps.
Anyways… we are going kinda off topic.
Yup. I’ll take my leave. Back to the Tyrande thread
The somewhat is the problem here; having pierce as an active drastically reduces the power of Harsh Moonlight. And even if it was not it is limited to only first target anyways … this rework
But 40% reduction? Bruh that’s epic.
30% reduction and slow to the entire team repeatedly due to CDR and passive pierce is way better.
The things i´ve done with this on bottleneck heavy maps was just silly.
Ok I have admit, that was hot.
So does everyone think that she’s in a good spot? Normally a high skill-cap hero like Tyrande i’d expect an unmatched healing potential but she seems far from it in comparison to any other healer.
Yes.
Healers are not healbots. They can do other things, like utility. And Tyrande has by far the most utility of all healers.
How’s that?
She has owl, owl reveals the location of opponents and gives info but that info does not help your allies when the fight is at hand.
She has a chance to stun (cuz it has a chance to miss) Good to get the chance to create plays
She has trait, benefitting only those that benefit from it.
All the above is to create plays. Not to heal.
If the opponents have good players they will know how to reduce your healing output and wouldn’t have a hard time in succeeding with it… seeing as you yourself ain’t a threat to them.
I would mb like a viable AA build for her where she can dish out damage atleast. Her arrows pretty much hits lower than Abathur melee slap.
The talent’s are weak, she has very high skill cap and very high consequence for not landing AA every single second or not landing the stun when it’s needed.
Ontop of all this a simple Autoattack pretty much outdamages one heal stack of Tyrande that the player has to risk his/her neck for to get.
Tyrande has (in her kit and talents):
-
global reveal - you can know where enemies are, when, where and how they want to engageall the time
-
AoE stun
-
armor debuff
-
self healing for her and her allies
-
bonus AA dmg for allies
-
spell armor
-
zoning tool
-
stealth for allies
-
movement speed bonus for allies
-
multiple tools how to reduce enemies’ dmg
-
slow
-
2 charges of soft cleanse
-
% based global dmg which is great finishing tool
Basically, she has everything except root and way how to deal with roots.
That all sound good in theory obviously, but in action it’s something else. MB i should check out some unscripted videos of her in action from pro players.
Because in higher ranks you can pick the right talent combination to get the right utility tools for the current situations. When you play her with 4 randoms it is always better to pick talents which increases healing, because your teammates often don’t know how to utilize all that utility.
I mean you could always check her talent tree and mix and match depending on your situation facing against.
Im just not a fan of not being able to heal at all if you get forced to a situation where u can’t autoattack and have no stacks.
Yeah this is where you pick a different healer.
That’s how it works.
Oh no, are you suggesting players look at the enemy comp and then “think” and change your build to not be what’s most popular on Hotlogs/HeroesProfile or whatever, oh never!
