Tracer proposed life leach change

You may be seeing a tracer who picked Health Pack talent getting a couple regen globes.

Alright I see now, thanks for clarifying.

That talent is good on the Braxis map.

I love it, I realize the pros like to get pulse generator, but I donā€™t like relying on pulse bomb for healing. And I love the -10 second cooldown on fountains for picking up globes too.

In that case itā€™s likely either

  • a) a healer (which I feel like is too obvious, but healers do have a disproportionate effect on tracer, due to her low health)
  • b) health pack talent. Doubles her health gain from fountains and globes. This is almost certainly the case here.

Well thatā€™s basically what happened with Illidan.

My best suggestion to see how to deal with Tracer is, play a few games as Tracer. Youā€™ll see that your damage isnā€™t that high, nor is your sustain.

Even 75% would take too long for this to be a viable strategy. Weā€™re talking around 30 seconds.

Iā€™m not sure where that information comes from. People are mostly frustrated because they push lanes at low health, and Tracer can now easily kill them.

Yeah, itā€™s pretty common for Tracer with Health Pack to have her Fountain up during the teamfight at all times. So she can run back to the fort, sip to 100%, and then return.
No wastage here since you can get some 10 globes between major fights and you have your Fountain ready regardless.

Easy solution.
Scrap the whole life leech.
Nerf hp.
Add damage.

Better remove her from the game.

I would really want to play the racer in the state she was released originally.
This game needs its unique heroes again, not make every range assassin close to another.
If all AA heroes have life steal, self heal, more HP and lower damage, then it all boils down to which one of them has better numbers.

I quite enjoy the new Tracer. I feel like I can actually get into the fight more and im not going to explode the moment some random aoe touches me.

Sheā€™S not really tankier though. Most abilities will still take 1/3 of your life.

The difference is marginally enough to notice a difference.

Honestly Iā€™d say just remove her sustain altogether, someone with her amount of mobility and ability to straight up bob and weave into an enemy team, kill a mage, and come out alive with her 4+ second chance buttons doesnā€™t need it. To many of the newer heroes have enough escape cards that any sustain just seems unbalanced imo.

I really donā€™t mind if they remove Tracerā€™s sustain barring most of what she already had pre-rework. Instead sheā€™d get talents for movement speed and potentially some means of recharging her Blink like she did before. Basically funnel what Tracer gained in self-sustain to her mobility. Tracer never had movement speed enhancing features since her inception. Time to change that.
