It says to click on another players Toy Train to connect them I think it is. But I tried to do it in a game and they didn’t connect.
Do they have to be the same colour also?
Making it almost impossible for players to connect.
First off you have to dismount and wait for your mount cooldown to refresh
and then you right click on the leader of the train and get on, you will automatically follow the leader unless you click to dismount or move in another direction

Also, you don’t need to have the train mount to connect with other train.

Also keep in mind, that you’ll follow the person you atteched to even if they dismount (unless you click somewhere to move).
Blizzard is clearly biased against Lunara mains.

I was lucky enough to get the choochoo mount in a loot box. So far I’ve found only one person in 6 games (with directions) who was able to join it. I feel so lonely. 
It’s the best one, I’m not sure if I will use my shards for that or Mephisto skin. It’s a pity that Brightwing, a hero who loves friends can’t ride the train. Well I assume she can’t as she isn’t able to mount.

It’s true, heroes that cannot mount can’t join their friends. Our Lunara wanted to play, but was sadly denied.
