Thinking of Getting Kel'Thuzad

Hello! I’m thinking of getting him cause I don’t have many other heroes to buy that I want right now. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to play Kel’Thuzad.

Anything is appreciated. I’m really bad and I wanted to practice his combo to see if I could ever do it well or be a good Kel’Thuzad player. :slightly_smiling_face:

E>W in middle of the 2 heroes you want to combo>Instantly E. If you E>E>W they will usually have enough time to walk out of your W.

I would suggest you wait till he is free week and try him out because if you are bad on it you will be a burden for your team.

Follow tanks with CC, when they stun (keeping the enemy still) it makes them easier to chain and to frost nova.

go into try mode, get muradin or diablo as your partner then pick rexxar or TLV (vikings) as the opponents. Then practice double chaining opponents hitting the chain on 1 hero then pressing e in the direction of the other hero to pull them together you want to be able to ewe or eew.

Watch any video of Coffee he’s a decent KT main and if you watch his stream he’ll help you get better if you ask in chat.

Play versus AI and try hitting combos.

If you main QM, dont waste your gold.

Also if you are in front of your tank, you’re probably out of position you’re squishy. Play safe, w and e with a purpose.

Don’t just spam them because the cooldown is off…

Unless you play in a group and you can gaurantee a tank to follow and set you up.

Also if you play in a 5 stack that plays well in QM regularly then DEFINITELY get and learn KT and make the other team complain about how bad match making is…

so you like the evil guy huh… i thought you were alliance goat now i see your real color!! i only like orphea / ming / jaina out of mages that’s all so i can’t give tips on that evil mage but if you’re interested in these 3 sure then!

Thanks for the suggestions! And yes, I’ll certainly practice in AI mode and then with friends in qm - I don’t want to annoy people with my beginner-ness, that’s for sure (my friends don’t count, they signed up for this lol).

I’ve got nothing else to use it for! Super easy to get too, not a problem :smile:

Lol well I just got the Yrel portrait for the facial expression she’s making. Just for the record, my highest level is Tracer and she’s overly nice (if you aren’t on the other team) :L

XAXA.There is no hero more useless then a bad KZ.Im 8 losses 1 win with him and i was carried hard that one. He is a hero that demands skill. So a KZ player must learn how to use him.

edit:also he is the only hero in game that will show you when you use him badly.Just by playing him and using his skills you will see if he fits your playstyle. Cus its obvious even to a moron when you use KZ wrongly.

Okay, update! So I got the gold to buy him finally and after a practice round in AI with a friend, we went to qm. Holy cow is this guy fun. Just murder murder murder all the time- exactly why I used to main Tracer. His combos super easy and gorgeous to watch. First game out of AI got mvp. Fourth game got it again but with 7 upvote thingies. Too much fun.

All in all, I’m totally ready to play this guy nonstop forever c:

Oh, also his dance with Mr. Bigglesworth is the best thing I’ve ever seen.
