Protoss, so OP !
I think WotA Imp is also great, but I can understand if it’s rare in the proscene especially if GladMed is there.
(And Taunt Varian, but same reason. Remove GladMed pls.)
It’s more like they didn’t ban Rexxar on one of his best map, so they had to get a ganker like Zeratul to get pressure top. But, by doing so, they lost damage pressure bot so that Alarak could freely scale without losing his sadism.
I thought DVa mech didn’t grant Rite stacks on death? Is it just from the discord strike bonus?
I haven’t played Alarak in a long time so I am unsure of what exactly about him hard counters DVa
If it dies it gives sadism, no matter if is a fish, a bear or a meka.
Something something Aba clone
The only exception is Rite of Rak’Shir. You’ll get the 3% up to 30% from Mech’s takedown from your trait, but won’t get the 5% from that talent, as it will pass on to the pilot.
Yes but the bonus stacks from killing someone with Rite of Rak’shir on them. Only triggers on Dva if you murder the pilot no?
Since it was changed I can’t remember if it was passed or if it was put on CD. Did you notice now meme beam chase baby dva? Devs did something to how certain things interact with the meka.
I’m going to take this to try mode and test it myself but I’m fairly certian rite of rak’shir only triggers on D’va full death.
D.va is countered by long range attacks provided she doesn’t dive you. Actually, rather than specific hero you counter D.va by comps, IMO. D.va individually can’t deal with long range pressure and if you have some means to peel then she can’t just dive your backlines, either. Also if you know how D.va fights and her vulnerability windows you can counter her that way, too. Kinda like with all heroes.
For example if D.va picked Get on the Point then you could negate its CDR by any random poke damage. It can upset D.va’s playstyle and force her to play more safely. With certain heroes you can also abuse the 0.5s+latency window between the turns of Defense Matrix, although that’s very niche. And of course everyone talks about means of countering Self-Destruct so there’s that.
My point is that barring very specific situations you don’t really draft one hero against another. You rather pick comps that work better.
