My (non-ARAM) record is under 2 mins, but thanks
I was playing Blaze in QM Cursed Hollow when I noticed the enemyâs twin blades Varian was missing. It was after 7 so I decided to check their boss just in case. Sure enough he had the boss down to about half health so I sat in the bush and waited. I sat there for about twenty seconds with him never thinking to check the bush for enemies and then unloaded everything.
I stunned him and dropped a fire patch on him. And before my stun was even over the boss stunned him and finished him with a slap. 3 seconds and the boss was ours. He did not try to solo another boss that game.
There was one ranked game a long time ago on BoE. It was a big flashy teamfight with lots of colours and abilities being thrown out, and it was very late at night, so I was on autopilot for the most part. I was basically half asleep.
I was Leoric, and was just kind of mindlessly swinging at the enemy crowd, getting those Q resets, and just doing my part in the team fight. I didnât realize until the objective was won that I had wiped the entire enemy team with all of those Qs. And I saw all 5 of the enemy portraits next to mine, and thatâs the kind of energy jolt that caffeine canât give you
Edit: I ended that game with top hero and siege damage, and itâs one of my most favorite matches Iâve played ever
youâve done us a great favor by doing that KILL HER WITH FIREEEEEE
Good, kill more of them next time.
There was once a time in my youth where I had join the Boy Scouts of America. Our troop met every Tuesday evening at a local Catholic Schoolâs gym.
On this particular day, we were supposed to be going through some of the old stuff in a storage closet located upstairs in the gym. While we did go through some stuff, we mostly used it as a time to slack off and dink around upstairs.
Thatâs when my friends and I heard it. A man screaming at the top of his lungs âAh help meh, help meh! Ahhhh! Help!â
Thatâs when our BSA instincts kicked in and we jumped right into action, running down the stairs out the back door and to the street where we heard the screaming coming from.
We were lazy slackers but we were boy scouts too dag nabbit! If someoneâs life was in danger, we were equipped with first aid training and by golly we had our neckerchiefs and knew how to turn them into slings if need be!
But what sort of medical emergency awaited us? Someone hit by a car? A broken bone perhaps? A heart attack maybe? Would we be heroes in tomorrowâs newspaper?
We get out there and we see a man laying in the street. On the side walk, there was a bus shelter with a bench and on this bench was a woman and her daughter who was no older than 8 years.
As soon as the woman sees us she stops us and we ask âis he okay? We can help!â and she goes âEverything is fine this man is acting a fool!â
She then gets off the bus bench and walks over to the guy lying in the street, stands over him and starts throwing hay makers down on him. Her daughter gets up on to the park bench and cheers loudly âGet him mommy! Get him! Yeah!â
Meanwhile the woman starts shouting at the guy âGet the Fâ up you punk #!$ ^&*$#@! You got mutha#$^^_ing boy scouts coming out here!â And while sheâs wailing into the guy he starts screaming âAh! Help meh! Help meh! Ahhhh!â
My friends and I looked at each other, nodded, and went back inside to slack off some more.
And there you have it, a FoxBlade epic tale of the ghetto. And yes, this is a true story.
Oeh nice! Mine was 3 min something
Im proud of my zuljin 5 kill record 33s
The rest ill read tomorrow!
Harbinger, his is your thread, itâs âHarbingers table of epic storiesâ, youâre much too kind, but donât get me credit for your work.
i just noticed falstad up there top left side lol
The enemy had repelled our Punisher with 1% of their core left,
The rest of the team had dispersed for whatever reason (Quick match) and all over the map taking camps
Buut not me For yours truly on Zulâjin ran in at that Core. The Yrel tried as she might to smack him away, the Damage deals tried as they might, but the unkillable troll flung his mighty saw blades and destroyed it.
His team didnât even know what happened until a few moments later
I donât really keep track of my matches nowadays but I remember this particular one from April. It was only a quickmatch, I was with a random team including a rather know-it-all player who was âcuriouslyâ silenced. Said person already calls GG after losing 3 people in the first fight. I do admit we were playing poorly for the whole match on Dragon Shire. I was playing as Whitemane (pre-rework ofc) and desperately tried to keep my teammates from disintegrating. We did win a couple of fights but the enemy kept winning the objective. We manage to counterattack just enough that the Dragon Knight didnât steamroll into the core but we were almost certain weâd lose.
Then this happened. Pardon for the poor quality, it was perhaps my first attempt at recording things like this. I did this because version difference didnât allow me to show this via the replay system.
Anyways, what happened next was a minor miracle. The enemy got too cocky or perhaps learned to distrust the success of their Dragon Knight and didnât push the core. They also made the weird mistake to split up while our entire team was respawning. You already see what happened as a consequence.
Yet thatâs not what I remember fondly. Losing that teamfight was likely a very strange moment for them but not exactly demoralizing. Our team had little to no coordination and it shows in what happens after the teamfight. Not to mention the fact the enemy had all buildings up so they had no reason to panic. What happened next though likely frustrated them a lot.
You see without their team the enemy Greymane tried to play relatively safe. He went for a siege camp, I predicted that thereâd be some activity so went in to facecheck. This is usually a stupid move but it was a 1v5 situation so I figured the enemy would not risk to engage. They didnât. My team also didnât capitalize on this opportunity but I already talked about this being QM and poor coordination overall. So I went to the enemy siege camp, my presence chased away the cautious Greymane who did take down half the camp already. Whitemane is a poor camp clearer but I saw an opportunity here. While GM distracted with Slyv pushing mid I decided to steal a camp right under his nose. It was very risky thus I tried to be both âquickâ (by WM standards) and to keep my health and mana near full for a potential duel. I was expecting him to come even if Iâd have preferred if he didnât. So when Greymane realizes (likely due to graphics bug, some abilities show through the fog of war) that I am solo camping they just couldnât resist jumping at me. I didnât know at the time but Greymane had all their actives and cooldowns ready though it ultimately didnât matter. As a background it should be said that I face a lot of very scary Greymane players who tend to burn down squishies. This Greymane was maybe average, I think their main damage dealer was the frickinâ Orb Ming. So I was scared but very prepared thus when Greymane did the usual combo I just performed mine. I rooted him mid-jump, used my boosted active to burn down most of his health, activated my Ult to tank most of his attacks and then watch as Greymane is entirely powerless against me. It was an all out duel from both of us but Iâve got a serious read on him. That being said his team was already back and as a friendly reminder I got hit by that Orb Ming. Just a few seconds longer and they couldâve turned this entirely around. I escaped though and with their usually cohesive teamwork in schambles I went on to support the rest of my team. We managed to take back the momentum and as surprising as it may seem we actually did won this match, even if after a lot of struggle.
Again, this is merely a quick match with no stakes and very little teamwork on our side. Yet this fight made it all memorable.
Cheekiest kill on whitemane I have seen.
I also wasnât really neglecting my team, since itâs a replay it doesnât show that much but I had a suspicion that the Sylv player will overextend and gets dunked by the Greymane so I watched the lane and if the Greymane wouldâve gotten aggressive then the camp can be damned as I go save her.
This caution of mine was well founded in the aftermath. See me weaving between mid and bot lanes? While it looks a bit like a victory dance I actually was nervous that the incoming group will attack either Sylv or Butcher. Turned out the enemy couldnât decide either and it helped us greatly. Still, Sylvanas nearly died there so I rushed to her side, thinking Butcher wonât risk it. Then I had to run to Butcher as he actually went 2v1. My teammates werenât bad individually, perhaps better than the enemy team but it was a busy experience. As you expect once Slyv was safe I ran back to Butcher who was doing fairly well but could easily had the rest of the team rotating on him.
It was a⌠stressful experience.
Still had plenty of fun though!
Good guy zuljin! Awesome btw!
Wow you died on Medivh? now this is not epic.
Must have been a weird place.
When the guys at Riot watched the Reunion cinematic and started to revolt the Riot bosses were like âOMG we have a blizzard comingâ.
When the guys at Epic release Fortnite they saw it as a riot on the industry.
Then the guys at Blizzard became Legendary Orange Flavor Text they are like âEpic this, epic thatâ and itâs always written in purple fonts.
Most player account passwords donât make it to Legendary.
Pre-rework Whitemane with Catherinaâs Orphea.
Have you tried post-rework Whitemane as frontline Melee Assassin and Orphea backline as Support with the build that buffs the ability that sends the thing through the floor, IDK what letter it is or how itâs called.
Iâm just saying because when people say pre-rework itâs like they donât like whitemane right now and get all nostalgic and stuff.
The current Whitemane does not feel as the previous one, nor does the current have any advantages over the previous one.
