Thats pretty normal for games. People just tend to get good at their favorite games.
Personally, I stay because hots has better pacing. Imo team fights and teamwork are the best part of mobas and hots encourages you to fight all the hecking time.
The closest other mobas get based on what I’ve played are smites arena mode which is also pretty fun but hots tends to have cooler healers/supports and weirder heroes which I also enjoy.
I also definatly do play other things
If you want, we could party up and play together. Might make things feel a little better : p

I just enjoy the game. I am far from a diehard, and I run into new players quite frequently (or at least smurf accounts) but there are some people who play that I can tell are genuinely new and are testing the waters.
It makes sense as it is an old game on life support that it wont attract many new players. Especially as it’s a game that takes a long time to learn/improve at and like you said.
I started playing 3 years ago so I don’t know what the new player experience is like now compared to then (game wasn’t in it’s prime then either) but back then played hundreds of quick matches and when I felt confident in the basics I went into ranked and continued to learn.
I also have a brother who has played hots since near launch so I also had that advantage. If you are a new player maybe seek out someone more experienced to play with?
Did you ask them all ?
The bad games come in streaks thank to Bzzzds dishonest algorithms. Just take a break after you get a couple and come back later.
Can you cite a reliable source for this claim?
You constantly assert that you’re a high IQ individual, so this should be an easy ask.
His source is ‘‘Trust me bro’’

I’ve a die hard heroes fan
squeals in little child
I’ve never been a die hard fan of anything
I play other games thank you very much. I just don’t have a reason to not play this game. It’s like when I used to have a Sega Genesis and at some point I also got a SNES, I didn’t throw away my Genesis I just had more games I could play with.
Maybe at some point if I find another game that can take up my time better then hots I might stop playing then but right now there isn’t anything out there that has caught my fancy like that.
The closest thing to that would be World of Warcraft and I’m not ready to jump back on that horse. That wouldn’t just drag me away from HotS that would drag me away from everything else (a sense of dread overcomes me thinking about it) ugh no thanks O__o
Did you like the Genesis or SNES more?
The wonderful thing about people who claim to have an IQ far greater than everyone they communicate with or are around is that it is much more amusing when they do or say something incredibly stupid.
Games are a learning curve bro, you just gotta go with it.
SNES but only by a smidge. As a kid I’ve always been around more then one game console even after I grew up and moved away, my roommate would own something from Nintendo and something from Playstation. I never had a strong loyalty to any one console.
The rumors that Microsoft is coming to the rescue are keeping me playing
Perhaps it is his bro that is the genius.
^ ^ You know how we all got that good? By playing consistently over a long span. Not like, playing like a maniac but, like 1-3 matches a day minimum, every day. Even if you go through a stint where you don’t feel like playing, just play (2) matches that day. Just two. You’d be surprised how quick the experience piles up.
And you could get to our level the same way…if you really wanted too…
…unless you’re just content to make sad excuses, Hrrmm?
Edit: Also raging at the game is normal. It shows that you care. Let me know if you’d like some pointers also.
