A lot of Diablo heroes can do a gender switch and create new heroes with different kit. Easy method to increase the Diablo roster.
that would be pretty cool actually if we have it in hots!
Is it racist of me that I laughed at this?
I was surprised about hanzo , ill deffinitely need a quick lesson on this one , why wouldnt hanzo’s name be ハンゾ instead ofハンゾー ? Wouldnt the ー sound simply be more an spoken accent where some people would pronounce it with a longer “o” sound then other ?
I dont mind being wrong , i just want to understand that one
Pretty sure it has his origin in the kanjis of Hanzo, but that’s too above my current level.
ri ri ra ra? gu gu ga ga. lady ga ga
I think its more likely because in english you already pronounce the name incorrectly by default, and think you have to correct it to match the english version when translating it back.
Still gonna wait for Japanese voice overs, specially for Mingy’s death sounds… huehue
Ara Ara Ku
Sorry not sorry
I find it pretty disappointing/insulting when they used the name Kira for a character that is not a master of mind games (trap/illusion, trickery etc…).
Think Death Note or Jojo part 4. Anyone bearing that name is an awesome character which leaves lasting impression. Not some hastily crafted cash grab.
The Arthas one had me in stitches, it’s nothing like the name.
A lot of “kira” exists in several languages, perhaps Qhira is a real word/name in some african language. I never expected to say this but not everything has to be anime related.
You need to spell the name as a Japanese, not as an American. They are quite close considering how different Japanese and English are.
That’s the point of it. Different languages have different sounds and even trying to pronounce Arthas’s for Japanese just sounds so far off from the original.
Iitiishii aww that sound pretty kawaii
Sorry for the so late necro/bump/response Life got more important than it usually did.
That is true. We got “sit-com” forms of anime like Sazae-san or Maruko-chan. Anything that is animated is refered to “anime”. I remember watching some Japanese old folk story (they’re creepy tbh) shows and my grandma would refer to them as anime.
I’ll try to make myself clear that in my previous post I was referring to all the pointy chin/nose, big eyes, slim body & gelled hair ones that are called “Anime” in the rest of the world. In my mind I distinguish them by “anime” & “Anime”.
Anime is actualy the product of Japanese being lazy or not being able to properly pronounce “animated” (probably makes no sense for english speakers, but some common words in english are hard to say for the common Japanese).
Hey, no worries. (I thought I might have offended you because I only noticed later that you said you don’t like Anime… And that I suck at reading I guess )
I thought it was just an abreviation, just like “Comicon” isn’t called “Comics Convention” because it’s just easier and more fun to say the short one.
That’s something I hadn’t seen before. I like it
