The most useless talent?

What is it nowadays?

I saw a gall pick psychotic break the other day and thought man is that talent useless (minus the occasional yolo core push as you hit 20 where you use psychotic break to kill the core)

Reactive Parry

Uselessness of talents is mostly subjective.
But let’s be real, AA talent for Mukry on 7th level is quite… ehhhh…

Sustaining Power.

Fury of the Storm, Nazeebo level 20. I can’t see a reason ever to take that.

nowadays?

Until genji gets reworked, he pretty much takes the cake on useless talents. People could probably argue which tier has the worst talent on it, let alone the reality that considering talents for genji involves having one on your team, or worse yet, that one is actually playing him themselves :face_with_monocle:

  • Psychotic break is still a damage increase passive, so it already does more than a lot of other talents lacking on usefulnicity

  • Reactive Parry is still better than genji’s dodge, so not the most useless :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

  • Murky’s aa talent works because he has an outright aa build that can be a big nuisance for some heroes, esp when isolated. :stuck_out_tongue:

  • Sustaining Power doesn’t exist anymore, so doesn’t count for “nowadays” (though being removed I guess is a case for its uselessness  )

  • It’s Sabotage is used for Erik backdoor strats, esp on two lane maps. I sawed that on pro vods, so clearly it is super metawesome :1st_place_medal:

  • Since zeebo’s Fury isn’t unique, it’s clearly the same talent as Zag’s, so it can’t be ‘useless’ cuz what else is she gonna take :upside_down_face:

  • Light of Stormwind is still aoe cc immunity, so essentially a cleanse. That still makes it more useful than some other options in the game :open_mouth:

  • To the Limit, granted it would be better if it was a range increase instead of a size increase, but if someone is gonna go aa zarya, it’s still extra mileage she gets for wave/camp clear. And even if she’s not great at it, she is still going to end up doing it ergo, more useful than most useless. :+1:

Dust spell and Arcane Brilliance on Medivh. Never seen anyone pick those since he was released.

Intensive Winds on BW. If you like to go omm after ulting twice then this is your pick.

Shade Lord. Unless you know how to juke around with this one you will lose too much not picking any of the other ult upgrades.

Hippity Hop on Lunara. Why would you pick this over vision on autos and your wisp that can reveal a big area while in a bush.

Galloping Gait is the same. Just even more movement speed increase you will never get to use unless you want to get faster to objects or catch up with a low hp hero out of position.

Endless Creep on Zag. The 2000% range sounds much but its not. Also 600sec longer Creep duration. Do the devs really think a Creep will ever last that long in a game lol. I like it more when it spawnd minions that helped to push the lane.

Cold Snap on Jaina is a trap spell

Zagara’s fury of the storm (yes, unfortunately it is not called fury of the swarm) at level 20. A freaking level 20.

If only the talent made creep last infinitely and could not be killed. The longer the game goes, the stronger zag gets until the swarm overtakes all

The most useless Talent is Arthas.

Egg Hunt. I guess you could use it to distract towers or something. It’s definitely worth giving up Bribe for that niche use.

It’s not like Murky has a basic ability that already does that or something…

Honestly, that’s probably better than the nydus upgrade, that’s just how bad it is.

I’ve seen players use it for map vision. Observing their efforts, I still wouldn’t recommend it.

what am I supposed to do with this?
