Holy crap, they do exist!
This is the first one I have gotten in a very long time.
Today was overall pretty bad in regards t HotS, but i managed to teleport out of a Butcher´s charge with Ming. After successfuly removing CC effects from myself with a well-timed BW trait, this now only leaves out-timing a Pyroblast on my to-do list
Fyi ive been playing on my main account (eu) to get mount. Tank is my highest winrate and i just won with maintank blaze.
Main tank Blaze is so much fun. But he has been a bit overshadowed by Anub’arak for me at the moment. Beetle build is incredibly strong right now. It’s funny to melt a TB Varian who doesn’t realize just how much damage and healing full beetles do. He doesn’t have enough AoE to clear them fast enough.
Yea ive also been having alot more success with garrosh. Blaze is fun to play but he just doesn’t have the same playmaking potential that others have.
Last SL match for me of the season, duo queuing with Harbinger on NA. We get ToD, drafts are good on both sides, but our Li Ming played … questionably. Orb build when we had a Garrosh to set up kills, and of course Glass Cannon when they had a stunlock/blow up comp (Muradin, Tyrande, Orphea, Cassia, and Xul).
However, we persevered and prevailed as our Sonya was really good, and our potato DPS (Ming and Raynor) would listen to shot calls often enough to not let us get behind, although they did derp and die to the Stormbolt/Lunar Flare/explodiness too much. But I will take a win, even with frustrating team mates.
And I will take a final MVP as Lucio.
Think i just had the Artanis wet dream in this Aram match
Us: Zarya, Brightwing, Gazlowe, ETC, Artanis(me)
Enemy team: Stitches, Stitches, Stitches, Tychus, Malfurion
Ended the match with 900 PoA stacks xD was just a hilarious flustercuck
Whenever you win a very hard and long match it more feels like you fought a pack of wolves and barely got out than actually winning. Was up against, what I am 70% sure was a 5 man team from how coordinated they are. Our Orphea was way too shy on dps (41k hero damage in 35 minutes) and our Imperius kept soloing 1v4 or 1v5 several times it was painful to watch, so it was up to me as the tychus for most of the dps. They employed a lot of tryhard tactics on us, things like lane baiting while one of them steals our camp, abathur sneaking next to our keep area to push locusts on our core end game, and soo much lane pressure. They did do several things wrong though, they always fought when they didn’t need to, and they always aimed for the wrong targets. Plus our Alex in dragon form was always doing a very good job in pushing them away from us while our Imperius was being useless. And zagara kept answering Abathur’s pressure very quickly. After one of their failed team fights on lvl 26 we took boss and pushed through. I need to go huddle in a corner with rabbits now I am so done for today.
Can go both ways.
Playing a session of random heroes now in QM.
Rolled Li Li, took 30 minutes, neither side really deserve the win, but I was glad to take it. On our side, the feed was hard. But the opponents somehow managed to not win.
Next was Rehgar. The compositions totally didn’t suit him, essentially it was pointless to cast W. I took a weird build, trying to adapt, and after 32 minutes, did walk away with a win. It felt good. Not saying I won it, but I made some good decisions - to be expected when playing a regular hero. Still.
I would classify both matches as excellent fun, too. Zero snowball, zero stomp, some challenge in compositions, good work. Glad I won them but I recall some lost matches like them and enjoyed those, too.
Heck, there was another fairly long win later, where we had like 4 macro heroes, I was a total noob Ragnaros alongside Sylvanas, Zagara and Nazeebo. I wasn’t too happy in the first few minutes but then remembered a similar SL match where despite killing such a comp left and right, they ended up at our core anyway. Did man up and scored a win.
I kinda enjoy this more than SL. In SL I just play the best build of the best heroes, and either stomp or get snowballed. Here I’m struggling and negative connotations aside, it’s interesting. Learning and adapting.
This is one of the reasons why I still love to play qm.
We should team up sometime. Feels like I could learn a thing or two from you two. And I’ll try to not let my 3 month experience be too obvious.
You have already proven to know more about playing this game as most of the playerbase
WON A GAME WITH RING OF FROST JAINA
my seasonal goals are complete
Update: nah holy nova anduin mvp to get into diamond 5… now seasonal goals have been met! Had to beat two high level smurfs to do it
I started the season with a single loss and then a 5 game win streak before I quit for the night, 4 of those games involved my darling now buffed,
So I’m starting this season in Gold 4 (well 5 but win streaks) will this be the season I make it to plat?
Doubtful but ehy what are dreams for?
When qm matches you together with Karabars then you know you timed you que just right.
I decided I wanted to play Deathwing in QM. Of course enemy team has Falstad (aa build) Fenix and Tychus. Oh, and look, map is BoE.
But you know what BoE has around objective? Lotsa tiny little chokepoints. Turns out that Falstad, Tychus and Fenix can’t reach me, or the objective if all the ways to get there are covered in lava pools and fire.
I get 11 kills and only 2 deaths, and after a long game, we finally win.
People underestimate the power of zoning
I almost thought for a second this post was a post from another invidivual I will not name by name,
don’t scare me like that Doc.
Enemy team: Imperius Diablo: We gonna stunlock em, no more medallion they toast
Melke’s team with Li Li and Uther: Hi there, have you met our cleanses!
Yes I had a freaking blast
Some days, a chaotic, crazy, nonsensical, and still hella fun day of ARAM shenanigans just feels good. We got beat, but not steamrolled, by a hilarious comp of double Deckard, Stukov, Falling Sword JoJo, and hypercarry Mephisto in the first one, which kind of set the tone for the day.
Double Lich King? Sounds good. The enemy main tank Imperius was ready to cry.
All in all, pretty much what I expected (and love) about ARAM in the space of 5 matches.
I had this QM match on Tomb of the Spider Queen yesterday. We were winning the game something like no forts down for us and all forts down and a keep down for the other team. Then the ennemy team came back, something like one keep up for both team. At this point, our Lili said “I said tought we won this game” and I replied that “We don’t play the map any longer”. Basically, we got cocky, sitting before their core. The team started to play again more cautiously and we finally managed to turn in the gems and won. Communication still works on some games.
