Thank you for listening the community and reworking these heroes who stand in the very bottom of winrate list.
These last reworks of yours were indeed necessary…
Thank you, bless you…
They need more nerfs to balance out their buffs.
Is this a joke or did I miss something?
The joke is blizzard reworks heroes that don’t need it (assuming Stitches here because Sylvanas did need one), while leaving heroes that have been in the dumpster forever to rot.
For a split-second I felt joy reading the title there…
Does Illidan really need a rework? I think he is in a pretty good spot as a high skill cap, high risk high reward hero. He has a positive winrate and sees occasional play in HGC. Just because the meta doesnt revolve around him, doesn’t mean he is bad.
Chen on the other hand…
“Illidan, Tassadar and Chen will now die whenever they perform any action, ignoring all protective statuses such as Divine Shield, Protected, Invulnerable, Hall of Storms and Death. Dieing counts as an action.”
Be careful what you wish for. There must be an actual plan what to do with a hero before any change can be done, and ideas don´t come on demand.
[Assuming you try to move directly at the start of the game, that is 1920 consecutive deaths at the 20 min mark as the logic frames are 0.625 seconds, btw]
This rework sounds like poop mate D:
Heroes don’t need a rework just because they have a lower winrate on the battle net. Simple buffs can make them get a higher winrate.
Hero reworks are not primary for buffing/nerfing heroes, reworks are for changing the design of a hero and i personally think Stiches and Sylvanas needed a rework. Their talent tree was really boring.
What’s funny is that you think that I don’t know these.
Redesign is better choice of word if you change the way a hero is played.
Reworks does not change the play style but partially enhances or narrows talents/builds down.
For example:
if you rework Tassadar, he remains to be a Support.
If you redesign Tassadar, he changes into a mage (assasin, preferably).
Clearly some other posters in this thread don’t know it.
Illidan doesn’t really need a rework, he just needs some sort of anti-CC.
The problem with Illidan is that he gets blown up when he gets hit by CC. He survivability is very reliant on his skills. A CC’ede illidan is a dead illidan, and there’s so much CC now.
One solution could be a talent/function similar to Chen’s level 7 talent that removes one stun/silence every 10 seconds or so.
A “gain armor when stunned/rooted/silenced. Can procc every 10 seconds.” could also work. There are a number of heroes that already have variants of this. (Also, he could use this for Time Trap effect as well; A level 18+ Chromie can smack Illidan around as if he forgot his Blades of Azzinoth at home. 99 out of 100 fights of Chromie and Illidan 1v1’s would result in Chromie’s easy win)
50% CC reduction when evasion is active.
Possible solutions but the problem with Illiidan is that if things goes his way, then he’s very powerful and almost impossible to escape from. Which makes balancing him a nightmare, I imagine.
A completely different solution would be to overly buff Illidan’s health and nerf his damage accordingly (but buff his liifeleech %) so that he can stay in the fight without getting blown up instantly when he gets hit with a stun.
The way illidan plays they may as well make him into a Bruiser. His mobility is pretty good but he needs to stick to a target for a longer period of time to actually do some damage. Many of his talents reward you for hitting multiple enemies with your abilities so there is a bit of an incentive to be in the middle of a good brawl. He simply does not have the survive-ability to do what he should be doing.
Either they need to give him some beef and make him a Brusier, or they need to make some adjustments so he can actually be an assassin. Casting “The Hunt” on a 10% enemy hero, isn’t cutting it imo.
I think at chen the problem is the lvl 1 quest talents. If those asks less number, then he would be very-very good hero. One of his talent gives 15 armor/ enemy hit with the flame breath. This means, if he can hit every enemy hero, then he get 75 spell armor and 75 basic dmg armor and he have 25 spell power reduction too with a level 13 talent. He have a very-very-very good talentlane, but that first talent asks too much.
At illidan i have no idea how could he being op, but i played with him a few matches… i have a lot of idea to buff him, mostly is spell armor at lvl 7 talent opption, and demon form should give armor (spell and basic dmg) and not hp. With this changes he would be a monster on the field, but i think most of players asks his rework, because he dosen’t have epic skills like in the wow the demon hunters Laser eye beam and whatevers. At the moment his survivalibity is a joke… if that’s change i will be happy demon hunter
Oh my God, OH MY GOD!
Finally I got dat one!
Finally Blizz listened to us and they did what WE asked!
Thank you!
Finally I can rest in peace!
En Taro Tassadar!
