Tassadar and Tracer Only game

I liked the idea of playing Tassadar and Tracer and only a few of us were doing it which was fun back in the days.

Now most of them are gone no longer play hots it’s no longer fun playing Tassadar he was range support back then which we needed because we didn’t have any.

Now he’s a range mage heroe which we have a lot… in-game. So yeah thanks blizzard anyone else know a game with a player can use a shield that protects his allies?

Also, can anyone tell me if Tassadar is charging is shield here…

I really liked the old Tassadar. He was weak early game, but in late game he could change the result of the whole match, he was strong.

You could always play Medhiv.

Or Zarya in OW.

I played new Tass in an ARAM last night. It was so sad for me. I mean, I enjoyed nuking people, but where was my beautiful boy that gave everyone a warm, happy shield.

The Devs should do like pre-alpha Thrall and just slap that exact kit on a less popular hero of the same faction.

Karax (or maybe shieldius the sentry) can be our shield-master. Sentries did have a shield, tickle cannon and force fields - it’s a no-brainer really. Especially if you are kind of stretched for Dev time and can’t be arsed doing a SC hero from scratch in 3 years.

It would make sense to have a talent tree for tassadar for the shield.
Allow players that enjoy it use it? Rather stick to one build whats works for them use it.

They should just keept him as a support hero but have his talents reworked to fit it.
Making him a range dps was just a bad call.

I’ve been saying that before they did the rework.

Is there any game other than Hots MOBA that gives shield to save allies if not this was unique to him with life leech?

I’m sorry you have screwed this one blizzard you went with the masses you can check your record how many players play him now.

We needed a range healer tass was great there.

At least according to HotsLogs, over the last 2 patches Tass is the 3rd most played hero in QM, and also 3rd over the past 14 weeks. There is no shortage of players playing him.

He is much, much more popular now in all modes than he was in his previous form.
So unfortunately that doesn’t work as evidence to revert him (which they don’t do to any heroes anyway).

People just seem to like ranged assassins more in general compared to teamwork-oriented heroes/enablers.

Disclaimer: I preferred his previous form as shielder/supporter.

I am pretty sure I have explained those heroes are different as peck from old Tassadar.

Why do you still repeat yourself then?

I said Zarya in OW, not in HOTS.

But adapting implies doing something differently. There is no way to get the same experience.

Also, I gave that answer to Logan, not Sadius.

I am Logan if you still don’t know that.

Considering how popular tass is right now, I’d say they did a goodjob with him. People seem to love playing him as the asn he is now. Even before this rework, most players played him like an asn anyways. The odd few went for the overpowered combos like Tracer and Tass. They did not fail. You just wish to play an older version of Tass at this very moment. To ask Blizzard to compete with memories is just nonsense.

I will repeat once again - they could remove Lifesteal from baseline Plasma Shield and talents to make this combo weaker.

What was the point of reworking Tassadar because TT combo if Tracer got baseline sustain after that? This is nonsense!

I posted it like half a year ago, but Zarya can’t replace him as support: the shields don’t last long enough, they don’t grant lifeleech, their cooldown is too high.

The only, and only viable replacement for that combo is Abathur, and he is very high skill cap (difficult combo to pull off unless the Aba only sits on Tracer 24/7).

I didn’t at the time.

I think those that loved him as support would go as a shield build tree if they had one.

Players will play heroes they like not have it moulded to something it’s not. From range support, it went to the ranged assassin.

Maybe allow both talent tree instead then.
