I took 1,249 damage from withering fire in 1.1 seconds. Barbed shot appears to be hitting multiple times instead of just once on the 5th shot.
If this is a bug, it’s actually kinda broken.
Remorseless fires additional shots per auto on a target with 3 stacks. Get informed at least before whining…

Basic Attacks against Heroes with 3 stacks of Banshee’s Curse fire an untalented charge of Withering Fire that applies Banshee’s Curse.
Additionally, you can see that no autos took place before the withering fire came in.
My information is correct.
Sounds like you also don’t know how death recap works. You can see WF doing 4 instances of damage there, doesn’t mean it wasn’t used twice from way earlier.
With “Might of the banshee queen” each withering fire shot increases Sylvanas’ spell power by 5%. Each after the first is 5% stronger, and after the last one she has 25% spell power.
She took overwhelming affliction. You can see the x2 on her autos indicating it.
Even if she did take might of the banshee queen, it still doesn’t explain how she did over 1,000 damage in two shots of withering fire.
Your recap doesn’t show us what talents were taken in the first place. That aside, I’ve not noticed barbed shot applying to any of my other shots aside the last one from my experience of playing Sylvanas.
The only other modifiers I can think of aside Might of the Banshee queen, since you say it wasn’t taken, is you got an armor debuff (-25 as you are the primary target) from cold dagger (level 13 talent), as that was the first thing to hit you based on the recap. And the debuff lasts for 2.5 seconds, which more than covers the entire period of damage, and this alongside the 25% damage boost from her trait would make those numbers depending on the level, which again doesn’t show here anyways.
But eitherway I’ve not seen barbed shot applying to my other shots, unless they somehow found some sort of obscure method, it doesn’t normally apply to other shots.

You all should keep in mind that desth recap can sometimes be inaccurate with the numbers and may slip a one or two in the process.

Its not outlandish to think that it hit you that much. It might be the cumulative damage from all 5 shots as all 5 shots have to hit you for it to proc.4
typically it adds x2 or x3 when the damage is multiple hits from one source.
Such as how Whitemane’s first heal shows “x2” by it. And Sylv has a chunk of AA damage. Although it that case I think it is combining her attack, with the 1% damage Overwhelming Affliction is doing.
note: this interactions has nothing to do with the possible bug mentioned by OP.
That’s true. Also if she was in dragon queen form with the increased health and Sylv’s percentage damage was added in.
Well it is probably a bug then? Unless you had the fanatical power debuff on you when you were being attacked, which would be the only other source of damage modification.
But otherwise, Barbed shot only applies to the 5th shot from my own experience yesterday and this morning. I’ve also not seen any reports on other channels like Reddit or Discord, which would also normally catch these things as well.
