Surrender/Vote to kick/Leave without consequences mode

Game needs system of faster solving stupid unplayable match. In almost every game u get some imbecile who afk or just pusshing lane without any other actions, or perma dead, or ALL previous at the same time.
Fix this, leaver busters is too easy to avoid. So penalties for such behaviour are none.

I am sick and tired of this, - somebody got bad mood/toxic etc, so he plays his game, do not help the team… So what is the reason of playing game anyway

SUrrender , so u can end faster unfair stupid game, or bad drafted in “random” QM/ARAM.

Leaving without consequences , when u got already AFK in your team like u can do in DOTA 2

Vote to kick - just kick such afk moron, and better get AI instead of him, at least u can have meat shield which gonna help u

Devs already said multiple times they won’t do any of that. So it doesn’t matter if it would be good or bad for the game, it just won’t happen. Even if they wanted to, they are such a small team now that I doubt they could pull it off. They probably just have enough people to do some balance patches here and there.

It’s called a “friends list”. I highly recommend it for improving the quality of your team mates. You won’t win every game, but they will be much more enjoyable.

If Blizzard says there are no reason for a surrender mode then they properly have thought about it for a long time before giving that answer.

Same reason why all chat was not added too other then in custom games and funny enough LOL came to the same conclusion now years later.

They went back on that decision though.

Would love this minus the vote to kick, premades would just troll the 1 random player to abuse it. But yeah surrender highly needed. There is no player in this game thats gonna carry 2 afks or bots in a game. Sorry it just not happening.

If it’s in everygame. Might as well just not play. I mean, you’d end up giving up or leaving every game anyway.

He said in another thread he will keep spamming these kind of threads (surrender and nerf zeratul/mobile heroes cause he can’t deal with them as kaelthas convection) until blizzard makes what he wants and no one can stop him.

So in other words he want the game nerfed down to his skill lvl just so he can keep up. There are reasons why trolls like him dont get any of thier ideas made into the game. Cause they wont work.

Why does OW have an all chat? I mean, I can see how HoTS players are saltier cause everytime I play overwatch QM, rarely anyone is salty, mostly the chat is just random talk lol.

The thing that drives me nuts about people making the LOL comparison is average LOL games go for 40 minutes and surrender dosen’t even become an option until 20

If we had the same system, 9 times out of 10 one side would surrender while their opponents are literally on their core anyway given how long our games go, a 40 minute game is 1 in a million event that means by definition it’s relatively even with sloppy fights occuring over and over again with heavy casualties on both sides.

Did overwatch calm down in the last 2 years? Cus OW was in the same general league as LOL when I played, from launch to about the release of Ashe

Yeah, can’t really compare both games.

And Hots games on average only last 16-22 min and power creep is no near being the same lvl as LOL or other mobas.

But again those who keep spamming surrender/nerf to cc threads are properly all low league players that are too stubbon to get better and dont understand basis gameplay.

No and no and bloody no. Since this low population has happened to this game i am 99% of the time playing with and against Bronze and Silvers/unranked with equally bad winrates while i am Master, and one of those games yesterday i had an Imperious who decided to just start typing and feed after 2-3 minutes after we lost a fight or two. He kept saying it’s over and it’s a waste of time and then proceeded to intentionally die going in 1vs(more than 2) and doing really bad plays. Fast forward a bit we won a team fight, and another, and we almost won if it weren’t for Zagara piloting the Triglav objective who after we had 4-5 people alive vs 0-1 on their side and they only had a keep, to just walk back and forth and then go back, then we lost, all because of people wanting to throw and be just toxic people.

Now if we had surrender option, these people would get to end the game 2-3 minutes into the game even though we would of won that match, this behavior is pretty much non existent in higher ranks and better players(mostly people who reached a higher rank and play loads of QM like me).

All this would do is give more reasons and tools for these kinds of “losers” to surrender a match before it even started. Most games can have an opening fight be a total win, only to lead to defeat later or and maybe a turn around at the end, or the opposite. At NO point in the game can you truly be certain that you cannot win, unless you actually are working on throwing the game(BANNABLE), or if for some reason this game, which is pretty much 1 in 1000 games happens, and that is that the enemy team in QM that is, is just REALLY bad, Match Making decided to give let’s say a Master/Diamond team to play against Bronze/Silver/Gold. I’ve had about 6-7 games like that, where the enemy was just clueless on both macro and micro, it was like watching the lowest of bots play.

Longest game i ever had was between 55-60 minutes on old Gardens of Terror, what’s League’s record ?

Well, this is only counting pro games, but the record is 94minutes.

But those are very rare tbh. Riot has tried to make games faster for years now. Most games last 25 to 35 minutes (without counting the surrender mechanic, just the games where the core dies). More than that is like very very late game. It does happen, but much less.

and that’s the pro scene where players are expected to be fast and concise, can you imagine what kind of scenario could be created in a sloppy solo queue environment where everyone on both sides ends up getting butchered more then their fair share of times.
