Super Hyped for Qhira

GLad you guys stuck to your guns Devs. I love thel ook of this new hero alread, whether I’ll play her or not is remaining to be seen but she does look hella fun.

Given her spear and stuff this might indicate a time to do some minor reworks to Sonya though given it looks like she’s filling SONya’s role but better, and SOnya was already hella bad comparatively

She seems very skillshot focused, will have to see how hard those are to land.

Ok one, we know pretty much nothing of the character. We have no idea which roles she fills.

Two, seeing as she’s an assassin and not a bruiser, I doubt she was meant to be a solo laner.

Three, it’s unrealistic to expect that no single characters in the game will ever share mechanics or weapons.

Just because she has a spear -like ability doesn’t mean she has anything to do with Sonya.

We need more melee assassins and the kits for the new heroes have been great so I’m hyped about adding her to the roster.

It looks like the team is also putting more effort into the lore portion of the nexus as well. Deep down do I care? No. But what can you do at this point, the ‘18 blizzcon was pretty clear that blizz is just another revenue machine at this point. Ill still buy her

Ps: she’s a hottie tho. It was getting boring that all the human chicks beside grandma ana are white

The big concern for me was the fact that they both fulfill the initaon role (as shown in QHira’s spotlight) and with the spear both having far FAR superior range to Sony’s and having the pull baseline (where Sonya needs 13 talent for the SPear to pull her regardless of hitting a target

Combine that with the fact Sonyah as just in geneeral already fallen out of favour, she should be on the buff list regardless.

I think Qhira is meant to follow up on the tank rather than initiate. And the escape baseline is necessary. We all know what happens to melee assassins with no escape tool (They don’t get played)

I don’t think she has built in self sustain like Sonya does, which is the biggest difference.

Technically, her w has built in self sustain, as she heals based on the number of stacks when she activates it active portion.
The passive applies a damage over time effect when hit by abilities and auto attacks.

Her W does some healing, and she had at least one talent that increases it, but it didn’t really look that huge amount, and she probably has fairly low health pool also, as she seems like a dive assasin. Though man both of her ult upgrades are sick.

What are they? didn’t see it. Adds slow/ stun I guess?

The upgrade for the first heroic makes it silence all enemies hit by the initial attack for 2 seconds, and gives it cdr every time it hits an enemy. The second heroic upgrade turns her to Genji (more accurately, if any enemy hero dies within 1.5 seconds of being hit by it, all her cds are reset, including the heroic, and it also increased it’s damage against low health targets).

Super NOT hyped for Discount Shuri from discount Wakanda.

Shuri didn’t fight…

she did in Black Panther aswell as Endgame

Ok, she mostly didn’t fight.

(Also everyone was crying that no one could be black panther when she was standing right there. Crown Princess!? hello?)

She also became Black Panther in the comics…

Oh muffin, I’m sorry for your lack of excitement, truly a travesty.

I’m saving my hype for the next hero. Probably gonna be revealed in BlizzCon.

Had they had the gut to introduce Hammond into the game, I would have been super hyped. Now this discounted Sonya/Hammond hybrid just literally murdered that tiny little probability.

I must say, I’m deeply disappointed.

Okay i did the math, the total healing she receives from her w baseline is 308 per 5 stacked enemy heroes at level 0, with the level 7 talent of damaging someone below 50%, she gets an additional 213, resulting in 521 total healing per 5 stacked 50% heroes.

She looks so good! Hello bamf bounty hunter of the nexus. You can stay
