Strongest heroes in lore atm

ill start off from the weakest:
NOTE: i wont include skins cause if so then i have the right to also include candy cane muradin XD. these heroes are based off of the same status as they appear here.

79-probius: in lore the probes can do little more than tp things and shoot zaps from their eyes.

78-murky: generally murlocs are stornger cause they do magic and fight, but murks is a baby.

77-Lt. morales: weakest human! yay!

76-deckard: the only reason he isn’t higher is cause he dosen’t know magic outside scrolls.

75-brightwing: all faerie dragons can phase out of reality, and can abolish heavy magic… and can even become as huge as normal dragons… but for brightwing , this spot is good.

74-lucio: the best placement i found for this guy.

73-li li: she has some good magic up her sleeve, and had done brawls with her uncle chen against figures from azeroth.

72-junkrat: powerful explosions, but pretty stupid.

71-gazlowe: one of the greatest engineers on azeroth,
and can create some really powerful war machines.

70-ana: she is a great sharpshooter, but her abilities and age dont suit for a higher rank.

69-hanzo: good skills and some magic, but still…

68-tracer: unpredictable and reverses damage, but also a
stickwoman.

67-anduin: although a healer, he is a higher-than-standard priest.
minor combat experience.

66-ETC???

65-raynor: what does he have that makes him powerful?

64-tychus: has more overall experience than jimmity raynor.

63-abathur: based off of comments.

62-chromie: despite her time powers, she herself is a dragon whelp, and the bronze dragon’s code of conduct is that they cant abuse it. this is as far as she can use her powers before it becomes cheating

61-whitemane: strong light power, but unlike anduin, she uses it to hurt people :frowning:

60-d.va: can do combat, but pales before magical prowess.

59-blaze: tough and very volatile.

58-zarya: powerful weapons and big muscles.

57-genji: very swift and also magic, but the other characters also get very powerful… strongest OW characters tho.

56-the lost vikings: magicless yes, but synchronize very well and can bring down tough opponents.

55-varian: as important as he is, he ain’t that powerful :frowning:

54-samuro: ancient fighting teqniques that make him a " not bad " charachter.

53-muradin: same as varian but with dwarf magics.

52-falstad: if he were ground lvl ( ofc ) , he is still very underrated due to the gryphon’s attack and the lightning magic. ( which all gryphon riders have. )

51-chen: explored the world and has powerful abillities such as some elemental prowess.

50-lunara: powerful magic abolishes and a quarter-god

49-jaina: her default skin is from back in WC3 when she was a pupil.

48-tyrande: even before her transformation, she owned a magical tiger and has excellent marksmanship and several powers from elune.

47-zul’jin: FO’ DA AMANIIII!!!

46-qhira: a versatile, intelligent hunter with many tricks.

45-zagara: can summon zerg to her call, and is very big in size, making her tough to take down.

44-greymane: vicious in 1v1, but has no magic.

43-valeera: superior to all non-magic people. and is a tough challenge to some opponents above like reghar.

42-sitches: abominations alone are a superior monstrosity, let alone the “terror of darkshire” , one of the most feared ones.

41-reghar: not only he is a master gladiator ( + gladiator master ), but is also a great shaman of the earthren ring.

40-rexxar: his animals, while mediocre on their own, can swarm a single target very efficiently, and he is also a VERY skilled , almost the greatest, beastmaster hunter in WoW.

39-yrel: thought she would be lower, turns out shes actually one of the best ( human-like ) heroes. her light magic is even better than anduin or whitemane and she also has formidable endurance and skill. ( she was defeated by garrosh even with us but since then has gained the mark of velen and the light, and is an exarch now.)

38-garrosh: very hefty punch indeed.

37-hammer: despite being in a buffed tank, she can be very easily overthrown if well focused despite her great damage.

36-artanis: master of close combat and powerful weapons, but no other abillities.

35-zeratul: defeated artanis

34-thrall: the “to be” greatest shaman in WoW, and a great warrior and tactitian.

33-dehaka: i was not fully sure where to put him, but this ought to do :stuck_out_tongue:

32-stukov: the greatest zerg creation outside kerrigan herself, and with great strategies and skills.

31-uther: one of the most powerful light users equal to tirion, and a bit behind turalyon then velen himself. he was so well-known that even yrel from dreanor knows him. and was actually the closest to defeat arthas the human WITH frostmourne if he didnt be kind to his former pupil.

31-sylvannas: before she gained her new powers… still, she controls minds, and ressurrects dead and has several darkness powers.

30-orphea: has very great, versatile powers from the raven lord.

29-the butcher: the fusion of tens of demons into one of the greatest demons of the burning hells outside of the evils themselves.

28-anub’arak: an oversized lord of the nerubians, whos armor nullifies most magics and physical blows.

27-auriel: despite being the angel of hope, she is actually a very exceptional fighter with her chords, and can take hope from people :stuck_out_tongue:

26-kael’thas: was a prominent member of the greatest mages of azeroth at one point.

25-cassia: the amazons are practically superhumans… NOT NEPHALEM, but powerful indeed… and cassia is their greatest fighter.

24-maiev: thousands of years of experience, and a very deadly foe that has imprisoned countless demons and enemies.

23-leoric: several death powers, and … well idk much bout him but he is said to be strong indeed.

22-kel’thuzad: the greatest lich that has ever lived. he, too , was in the counil of mages like kael, and is the creator of the abominations.

21-mal’ganis: massive, manipualtive and powerful, and very very intelligent with various fel powers.

20-tyreal: the angel of justice himself, and a powerful ally indeed.

19-alarak: he was a bit empowered by amon, and is more powerful than most protoss.

18-fenix: can change bodies to accommodate situations, and all are very strong and sturdy, with years of fighting experience

17-malfurion: the greatest druid in the game, he weaved tornadoes to hold the landmasses together after deathwing destoryed the world. he made storms across azeroth, and has also lived for thousands of years as leader of the druids and night elves, with power storng enough to rival that of ysera, aspect of nature and alexstraza’s sister.

16-azmodan: the technical lord of hell, and with entire legions of demons under his command.

15-mephisto: possibly the greatest source of corruption in the diablo universe, and himself with great lightning powers.

14-gul’dan: holder of immense fel magics and harbinger of doom and darkness incarnate, the wimpiest character i ever had the pleasure of slaying.

13-illidan: not only a very scary foe with his blades , which he has more than 10,000 years experience with, but also a powerful wizard of arcane and some fel. a true hunter with many victims.

12-diablo: fast and immensly strong, with lightning and fire attacks, and some mind control.

11-imperius: the greatest warrior in all of creation, and the holder of several angelic powers and weaponry that no other being has.

10-cho’gall: literally mentioned as " the most insane ogre magi that has ever lived", they grew so powerful as to be capable of opposing gul’dan, and challenged the whole new council of mages, with every single one of the council with extraordinary powers, empowering the NEW guardian, son of medivh, with the second greatest staff known in WoW, the staff of medivh atiesh.

9-tassadar: practically god of the protoss, and a force strong enough to bring down the might of the overmind.

8-kerrigan: her insane psionic powers and control over the entire zerg supercolony make her one of the most powerful charachters on the list. the only reason she isn’t above the lich king is that the lich king has direct control over souls, and only immortals/ eternals can pass through the lich king barrier.

7-malthael: like the lich king, but without frost powers. the soul attacks and his power which grows per soul are very immense however.

6-the lich king: arthas , with the helm of dominion and frostmourne, can raise entire armies in an instant, and has incomprehensible amounts of frost magic and can rip souls to add to his ever-inreasing collection.

5-alexstraza ( pre cataclysm ) : the guardian of all life, the queen of all dragons, and a pretty damn strong character , being able to oppose deathwing himself .

4-ragnaros, mah boi XD: was so storng it took more effort to bring him down than deathwing, and required the night elves to bring back every single demigod of the wilds to simply push him and his forces back. his weaker state is stornger than cenarius and the 2 strongest druids combined.

3-medivh: the last guardian… he is straight up insane. he was the only mortal ( he is an eternal now ) that deathwing was afraid of. medivh made gul’dan, upon meeting for the first time, BOW BEFORE HIM IN FRONT OF HIS OWN COUNCIL XD . medivh’s last remaining book was strong enough to be used to summon the left hand of sargeras, the planet slicer, and to be used with 2 other arctifacts to destroy the whole of a planet and send half of it to another plane of existance. medivh wiped out armies with single waves of his hand, and his mother, who is weaker, defeated the avatar of sargeras and made a magic tower out of thin air. yea, these are a VERY few. hes op.

2-deathwing: he broke the world, he tore apart parts of reality, he is the aspect of death, he radiates pure energy and wears metals around his body because his own hugeness isnt enough to contain his power. his flight over azeroth changed the tides, and the event of his emerging alone is called the cataclysm… XD

1-the nephalem: godkillers, pure energy and power that is related to the supreme god of the diablo universe… ye … they hold the top xD

IF YOU DISAGREE ON SOME PART please, say so, and if they get 5 likes, ill change

thats a very interesting list :+1: :+1:

SC is not placed in a fantasy setting, a probe can oneshot a man with their beams.
Abathur survided in char for months alone. Char is an actual hell compared to diablo’s hell.
Artanis is no joke asides he is super boring. In combat Artanis is one of the strongest protoss capable to stand against an hybrid, a creature unaffected by terran weaponery.
Zeratul is what you get is you cross one punch man with invisible man, a single strike from zera can kill everything below infested Kerrigan level.
Zagara is a brood mother, one of the strongest zerg ever.
Dehaka is a monster capable of challenge a brood mother.
Stukov is infestation in walking form, any biological thing that is not a protoss will be infested, also he is almost unkillable.
Fenix was the best protoss warrior ever, and draggons are capable of desintegrate anything.

This list is a joke, people needs to start understanding how OP things are in SC universe.

Trying to compare power levels across worlds is pointless.

Probe lightning may be lethal for SC humans, but who’s to say Warcraft humans aren’t sturdier than that? Artanis may be one of the best protoss fighters, but who’s to say how that compares to the playable Diablo monk? Dehaka may be capable of challenging a broodmother, but who knows if he’s capable of challenging a scientifically augmented gorilla?

There’s no way to judge these things one way or the other because we only know how they stack up to other things in their own universe.

Can you jump off a 3 story building and survive without a scratch

Malthael is probably the strongest and he’s not even listed.

It might be better to do a separate list for each universe. Either way I would put anduin higher than where he is. “Higher-than-standard priest” is a bit of an understatement. Dude can one shot a dreadlord (comic related stuff). Garbage in straight combat, but probably one of the strongest light-wielders in the setting, next to Velen

I think it’s also stated somewhere that Hanzo is actually a better swordsman than genji, but he hasn’t used the sword since he ‘killed’ his brother with one. But he doesn’t use a sword so… Still genji? Idk.

I’d say the most powerful for each universe as represented in game are:

  • Deathwing/Medivh
  • Kerrigan
  • Malthael (excluding the Nephalem because they are a player character so ofc they are strongest, and I can’t say which nephalem is the strongest one.
  • Genji. Unless Hanzo decides to use a sword for once :stuck_out_tongue:

(I’m assuming this is ranking the versions of the characters that are in heroes, not as in their respective games)

guys i posted by MISTAKE IT WASENT COMPLETE, IT HAS ALL HEROES NOW!!

gishki…

abathur can’t 1 V 1, he survived because of his avoidance to predators and eating smaller creatures

be honets, artanis cannot entirely win the ones after him such as reghar, who has a strong connection with the 4 elements, and can transform to a wolf and is a master gladiator. he cannot win yrel, because she is ALSO a great warrior… him being well trained isnt something new

zeratul wasen’t shown with much power in LOTV, and was barely able to do something there. his power comes from him outsmarting opponents and stong diving, but he never was a one punch man… he’d be screwed if he fights mal’ganis for example, because of the tricks and visions and sheer bruteness of the dreadlord.

A BRRODMOTHER IS THERE TO PROTECT FREAKKIN BROOD, not to fight. her placement is very generous and your terms are inaccurate.

stukov was never shown to be unkillable, and again, what is infestation against DA LIGHT ( holy warcraft music intenisifies )

dragoons might be powerful, but again, his placement is very good.

lastly, if your opinion is different, please do not say " trash trash" because right now, half of what you said is either still weak compared to the heroes here, or simply wrong  please be nicer next time …

peskyberry…

velen would be as storng as tassadar, cause velen is bascially the powers of a narru himself. anduin is a training priest, and he , as im informed, has no actual feats of strength apart from the cinematic, hence he is better than average… and even if he was storng, i would at most compare him to uther, believe me uther is a legend more than u think. velen is , without debate, the greatest light weilder because he purified the dark narru of it’s corruption. the “dark star” was supposedly containing legendary powers of undeath and deatruction. and velen, while he did sacrifice his life, purified the literal dark god. anduin began training as priest like a couple years ago… remember that he is only like 23 years old, velen is probs 25k years old XD

OHH also u reminded me, varian asked anduin to study under the human archbishop, but he refused and said he wanted to study the teachings of VELEN…so he cannot be equal :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry I wasn’t super clear. Velen is for sure the strongest priest. Uther was also for sure stronger than Anduin. I probably should have said current lore, as far as light-weilding power strength related. Uther is after all, dead. Anduin is a baby (19 in BFA I think?) and a training priest, but a good priest for being a training priest and a barely adult.

Sorry, I’m a bit of an anduin fangirl. :stuck_out_tongue:

yes XD thats what better than average means lol u said it :stuck_out_tongue: hes better than the people who become priests at his age .

also guys disclaimer: kerrigan lorewise is actually supposed to be 3rd place on par with medivh, but its because she cannot defeat death she is behind. you see, while others like cho’gall are weaker than kerrigan, they are not phased by soul attacks, same with medivh, nephalem, and the rest because of specific reasons. kerrigan at her core is a human, so her rank if this was a brawl 1 v 1 would be there, but her actual rank is higher

I’m tired and can’t read right. >.<

I’m pretty sure Malthael is still the strongest. He’s technically immune to damage because he can make anything go through him, even a magical sword Tyrael had.

the magical sword, el’druin, only hits creatures that need justice served, and mathael, wasen’t a villan, cause technically he was purging all traces of demonic entities from the diablo universe, including the nephalem. so it is actually a good thing, to the sword at least. it was discussed and proven to be correct lorewise but i dont remember where i saw it :stuck_out_tongue:

and malty’s powers, again, dont work against immortal creatures for obvious reasons XD, besides, he cant phase and attack at the same time. because of logic xD . he alongside arthas can kill all things above them because they are either mortal or weaker, like fenix. but can’t kill ever-living creatures or ones that are soul-less

Mate, in lore Abathur’s size is somewhere between a van and a trailer truck (including trailer). He ate whatever he could find on Char on his own accord and survived.
No (SC) human could possibly take him in 1on1.

He’s unaffected by magical and physical damage, so even if the sword says that Malthael is unjust, he’s still unaffected by it.

He actually did both at the same time in the Reaper of Souls cinematic, if not at the same time then very quickly from each other. If you can prove that immortal beings don’t have souls then sure, but I’m sure they do since that’s how they can return. I don’t think anyone in Heroes of the Storm are soulless.

They actually can’t. The way they mine minerals is highly specialized for facturing off shards, and is not very effective against forged armor or flesh and carapace due to different physical/crystal structure. They can do some real damage given enough time, sure, but there’s no way one would be able to flash-fry a man.

Not surprising, considering that he could create living structures for shelter. Terrans were able to survive on Char too, after they built their bases.

She’s not actually all that combat capable herself. She just births extremely lethal units to fight for her.

And then evolves and becomes even stronger afterwards, potentially ad infinitum.

That might be true, but if you imply that this is a reason we have to put her low on the list, I have to disappoint you. Her brood is part of her fighting prowess. Otherwise we would have to put Mr. Cain on the absolute bottom of the list because he would not be allowed to use magic scrolls.

Sure, but she’s certainly not “one of the strongest Zerg ever.” They don’t have tough armor, their attacks aren’t much stronger than Hydralisks’, and they’re big targets. The most dangerous thing about them, aside from their intellect, is that many of them can rapidly incubate Banelings in their body.

I mean, Zerg literally coined the term “Zerg Rush”, because their armies are more expendable than others’ and they win by number advantage. Aside from Ultralisks, which are absolute machines, they are more fragile than their opposition.
