Stop with the 'surveys', Blizz

Is anyone else tired of the generic questions Blizz posts as a ‘survey’ at the end of certain matches? “How much fun did you have in your last match?”, “How fair was the last match?”, etc.

These are horrible questions that get no background from the players about what was fair/unfair, fun/not fun about the matches they play. If Blizz really cared, they’d take a customer survey that could help improve the game.

I don’t mind some of the questions, like “how fair/unfair was the last match?” because maybe they could use the data from it for matchmaking.

Asking “how effective do you feel the reporting system is?” is a pretty dumb question though. How the hell could we even know if we don’t know who is getting banned and why? I just always give this question the lowest rating by default.

Yea i also give it one star as i dont know if all the feeders i play with and the players with 1000 games or even more on a single char can play like a its the first time, they play on it. How can that even happen.

These questions can be useful with a ton of data attached to them.
Like having a spike of “unfair” votes with games with an enemy stealth Hero for example.
I’m pretty sure Blizz can use these questions, so how about not getting annoyed by small things like these when it’s about Blizz asking for and getting feedback?

This.

Blizz’s surveys are a playerbase wide poll. MUCH better for information than either these forums or reddit. At least some things.

i wonder about it. when i keep getting asked how fair the reporting system is and keep saying :frowning:. the reporting system is still bad.

You don’t know how big the difference is between the negative and positive ratings.

They’re useful, if only for gathering basic information.

Excluding the “how effective do you feel the reporting system is”.

Which is just worthless as a question.

I’m 90% sure it has the same data as the “rate this match” thing did for Overwatch, which Jeff removed for being pointless.

Did I lose? If so, I’m more likely to check that the match wasn’t fun, it wasn’t fair, and teammates didn’t work together.
Did I win? If so, it was a fun, fair match with great teammates.
