I do not want to throw minions with wrecking ball. I have never wanted to throw a minion. I never will want to throw a minion. I can’t tell you how infuriating it is when I’m standing right next to an enemy hero and trying to throw them, only for a minion to get one femtometer closer as my finger falls on the button, so I toss a damn minion instead. It makes me so mad I wanna do a swear word.
Knock it off.
You’re better off not playing Garrosh then because that’s an intended counter. Just like how you would hide in minions to avoid skillshots from Nova or Li Ming or many others.
Essentially, l2p issue.
i like throwing minions.
especially for the stun.
off chance though sometimes you can throw a minion at someone when there is nothing else around and kill them. also, try using a minion throw in lane when clearing. just saying.
Wrecking ball landing also does a decent amount of damage.
It is rare, but I’ve got last hits with it before.
even if I agreed with your opinion, which I don’t, your delivery at the end there has immediately guaranteed I won’t respect it.
It can occasionally be helpful to throw non-heroes (like Siege Giants) into tower range.
However, I think what would probably make all Garrosh players happy is having it prioritize heroes if they’re within range.
Not that I care about receiving the respect of a guy throwing out a mad rant about something normal that wont ever be changed because what you want is simply crazy.
Not only was it not a rant, but you care so much about being brushed off you came back to leave a near-incomprehensible counterpoint. I don’t care about your opinion or your holier-than-thou attitude; have a nice day now.
Reads like a rant to me.
Yeah, you didn’t care about any arguments or counters, since you are only here to rant about minions and garrosh.
And implying that I care a great deal because I write a response to a response you wrote to me, that’s hilarious.
If four sentences is a rant, you must think a paragraph is a manifesto.
A rant is a rant no matter how small it is.
Alright, I came back because you’re being dumb and aggressive and that’s amusing to me because I have nothing better to do right now: The definition of rant is that it’s something long.
well now that escalated quickly. now look who’s being aggressive and insulting just because people are telling him that’s a game mechanic and it’s a really L2P issue…
So wait, he gets to say something factually wrong in an attempt to belittle me, and I don’t get to factually correct him without being the bad guy? Screw that.
i don’t see where he insulted you tho. he didn’t say anything wrong that’s how it always been about garrosh and you should learn to never attempt to throw someone that’s near minions cause you can never do that and nobody does that unless you have the stun talent on throw then you can throw a minion to stun a target other than that you simply don’t throw targets near minions
A rant can be any length, in essence. Typically longer, but a rant can be short.
The definition when you google isn’t a perfect law and perfect example. Try to google “prerogative” that one is very vague and very dependant on where you are as well.
Typically it will tell you that prerogative is the special rights reserved to people like royalty, which was the original meaning, but in these days it’s often used like “it’s my personal right to have this different opinion” or similar effects. Like the song My prerogative.
Also language and words constantly shift meaning. And it depends on where you use it.
A rant these days is pretty much this: Angrily complaining about a pet peeve. Typically in a way where there is no point because it’s not something that should be changed, but one rants simply to vent out frustration.
This is no doubt a rant because you’re angrily writing about how much you hate that Garrosh’ throw, throws minions, saying how much you hate it, without even going into the matters of balance and how much things would change and how the change could be made balanced in some ways or other.
For instance, while it’s generally annoying, throwing minions is one of the few ways that Garrosh can waveclear, as it does some AoE damage. And Garrosh can throw mercs or minions into tower range to deal with them easier, like someone else said, very useful against siege giants.
Removing minion throwing would therefore remove a lot of Garrosh’ waveclear.
Hiding in minion waves is an intended way to counter the throw, much as you hide in minions to block skill shots or tower shots. If you don’t like it, clear the minions.
Also, throwing minions can be useful. I’ve gotten killed by getting a minion thrown at me before. I would have been mad, but it was actually hilarious.
Stop positionning badly , it will help.
Also throwing minions to damage or stun with level 16 talent a far away ennemy comes in handy no way am i willing to lose that because you struggle with it.
Throwing sappers into the death zone on Towers of Doom is a way to get a guaranteed core shot. Wrecking Ball is such a potent displacement tool, it really does deserve some counterplay, such as blocking with minions.
If you are having problems with constantly throwing the wrong target, watch the units around you closely. The one that will be thrown will always have a little Horde symbol on it. This way you can tell when to hit E to toss an enemy hero, and not something else.
