Well to be fair, the reason why it tanked is because the movie did squat all to explain what was going on to those that never touched Warcraft AND that is shat all over the pre established lore of Warcraft one AND that they had to go shoving a romance in where it did not fracking belong.
We will stop hating OW when the heroes become tolerable to play against IN LOWER LEVEL PLAY. A huge portion of players dont play comp nor give a damn about it so any balance arguement about higher level play is irrelevent to how many people feel. Genji does whatever he wants, very hard to punish. Recall hard counters most ults and is on a silly low CD, again tracer often does whatever she wants. Hanzo hits harder than chromie, but is easier to use and has escapes, making him unfun to play against. Furthermore Ana has the strongest feeling healing compared to like a lili or Malf but isnt too unfun to play against. TL DR. Fix the heroes for a MOBA then we will stop hating not before.
Please not Sombra, we don’t need another salt inspiring hero added who (the character) is toxic in and of herself. Also her kit is based upon preventing others from using abilities which is intrinsically unfun and would make the problem of people hating OW characters worse. Perhaps Orisa, Torbjorn, Mei, or Reaper would have better fits into a MOBA game. Also widow would just be like Nova.

We have alredy Silence in this game. The hack skill dosen’t do anything else. Perhaps it would have debuff as an extra.
Malganis can make sleeping target from the entire enemy team, and while he do this he get bonus movement speed. Sombra best movement is will be a silence skill. Tottaly acceptable to me.
I think i will do on this week a topic, where I write down how i immagined her, and widow and Mei too.

What’s better then to add hero who has Invisible, bonus movement speed, ranged silence, teleport and probably AA like tracer.
What could go wrong with that…

I think her range would not be so big. Max 5. I think only 4.5 range or less. I think she would die by 2 slap. While Tracer could keep the distance by pressing Q, Sombra wouldn’t be able to do it. She have to teleport away.
Sombra has Guldan’s 20 lvl talent as a base ability.
And why her range would be so low? That doesn’t make sense. She doesn’t have burst like tracer, so she would have to have higher damage. And even with tracer-like HP, she would be hell to play against.
Both Tracer and Genji are hated for their mobility. Now add Sombra. Come on…

People like to pretend hating OW is “Bandwagon Hopping” when they know they can’t convince people to not hate OW. It must bother them bad enough to make a post about why others don’t like it. So they try reverse psychology “People only hate OW because it is the cool thing to do…”.
Sounds like a personal problem.
Last I checked people are allowed to hate that Blizzard threw fps (fast paced shooter) characters from a fps (first person shooter) into a MOBA based on 3rd person dungeon crawler, strategy, MMORPG games.
Fanboys on the defense love to try that reverse psychology crap when trying to get people to not hate the game Fanboys like by saying things like “you are not cool just because you hate -insert fanboy game here-” thinking people are gonna be like… “OMG I should stop trying to get acceptance from other strangers I don’t know on a video game by saying I don’t like a game because…everybody does it and there is no way someone could legit hate something a company added or took away due to the popularity of streaming media (Nerfs and Reworks no one asked for because they were boring on Twitch and the pro scenes). I guess I should just mindlessly praise every popular game and ignore my personal reasons and thoughts about a game so I don’t look too desperate to look cool”.
If you think people are just trying to “be cool” or feel “special” then that is on you and you are entitled to your opinion just like we are entitled to ours.
Ok, you are allowed to hate them.
That doesn’t mean you have to go cry like a baby when we get an Overwatch hero. Less so when you invent very dumb reason for excluding OW characters like “they look like cartoon characters” or " don’t have 20000 years of lore"

Some reasons like “they look like cartoon characters” are subjective reasons that defines one’s taste towards Overwatch characters. As wrong and possibly easily factually counterable as it may be, people are free to their own subjective taste.
I dislike most of their character designs. I know a few including me who think they’ve been built on the idea of popularity and getting money; which is old as when people started telling bonfire stories, but not everyone will like every character from every stories (and we all have our dumb reasons why).

I dislike OW, I don’t like its design nor its characters (except a few, like Junkrat, Hammond and Bob).
The most unliked enemy Hero for me is Hanzo.
And ppl can say everything they want and feel, but trying to use personal taste as arguments is unintelligent and objectively wrong.
Also it’s pretty unwise to hate every possible upcoming OW character just because you disliked a few from the first ones.

Undermine “my credibility”? You are quoting things I did not say in an attempt to twist what I said. Many Fanboys of anything (Games, Politics, Movies, Sports) will use reverse psychology to get people who follow the sheep to join their ranks in order to fit in. Same crap you learned in school…you know “Only the cool kids smoke weed/skip school/drink underage/disrespect your parents, etc”
Also there are people who legit like OW characters and there are those who will mindlessly flock to whatever is hyped to remain in the social hierarchy just like there are people who legit hate OW characters and there are those who mindlessly say they dislike OW characters and never played it at all. Whatever you are trying to sarcastically twist things didn’t hit it’s mark but I’ll humor you.
One can hate something that is perceived as “normal”
The ones that don’t hate are fanboys because those fanboys are in the same echo chamber as those who legit love the same thing as mindless fanboys same way those who just want to bash something for the sake of trolling or misinformation will fall in the same line as those who legit hate the game. There ARE people who love OW and disagree with mindless fanboys and there are people who hate OW and disagree with those who mindlessly bash it.
P.S. My “credibility” means little to nothing on a forum. I say my piece and move on with my life. If someone thinks I’m full of it or lying then that’s on them. I don’t need to be championed for my opinions I’m pretty darn sure the majority of my unpopular posts are laughed at and or ignored but it is what it is. Forums are for discussions strangers choose to engage in or ignore and it is not my job to convince people to believe in what I say. You either do or don’t simple as that.
